[PC NA] Lost connection on zone change - "requesting character load" limbo.

On attempting to change zones (in this case, a delve) I got booted to the login screen for a connection timeout. That character is now in a sort of limbo where I literally can't play that character as it'll just result in a connection timeout if I try to login with them. I've already repaired (which did nothing) and reinstalled (which let me login to the character but the same thing happened once I tried to enter the delve again).

Is anyone having a similar issue or at least know of some means to resolve the issue? The exact same thing happened to me like a year ago and I quit after trying to find assistance on the forums for a week. The only thing I can think of is it being a server related issue but haven't seen much recent information pertaining to this specific issue.

Update: Appears to be an IP-related issue as I'm currently dorming. I downloaded a VPN which appears to have solved the issue.

If anyone wants, I'm using TunnelBear right now and it works fine.

That is great but I think that it is not an IP issue, but a routing issue. You are avoiding it with your vpn.
