Searing strike - Bug - not getting "XP"

Hey guys, I'm playing as a Imperial Dragon Knight in AD.
I'm currently level 10 and i'm having a problem with this skill: Searing Strike.
I've leveled up from 9 to 10 almost using only this skill, and it doesn't get any "XP". The bar stayed stuck very close to the beggining.
I don't know if someone else is also having this problem, or just me, and if you guys have any tips for me to get around this.
