Can't farm bosses??

I just came back after about two years and I notice you can't farm bosses anymore. Is there a cool down on this I hope? I need one of the two parts of a set it drops and I got the wrong one. How long do I have to wait?

I do it all the time.. Short cool-down after death..

✭✭✭✭✭There has always been a cooldown. When you kill 3 bosses in a short amount of time (can't remember what the actual time is) they stop dropping loot for a few minutes. If you're farming any bosses, just stick to a rotation of 3 bosses. By the time they respawn, the CD will be up.Edited by MLGProPlayer on April 9, 2018 4:35AM1 -

Also it's goes off damage if you are fighting a boss with a large amount of ppl "12 or so" if you don't put out the damage you don't get the loot1 -

5 minutes per boss is what ive experienced. You can only loot a boss of any type once every 5 minutes. Otherwise you get a bit of gold and thats it.0 -
Grendel_at_ESO✭✭✭Well I was farming Toothmaul and even after an hour Bloodroot just dropped gold. All the other minibosses dropped stuff after a few minutes. I couldn't remember if there was a cool down before but I knew bosses didn't just stop dropping stuff for that long. Ended up getting what I wanted off the other bosses but it took forever, kept getting the other two sets.0
