Magicka Templar Dawn's Wrath skills

My question is, why most skills in this tree deal Magic Damage, and only single deals Flame Damage?
It seems illogical even for the spells tooltip:
Nova - •Call down a fragment of the sun
Solar Flare - •Conjure a ball of solar energy
Backlash - •Summon an expanding beam of pure sunlight
Radiant Destruction - •Burn an enemy with a ray of holy fire

In all the above the fire deals magic damage, why not the flame?

Because we have a fire class and they didn't want a second...

this problem already is stated in other templar threads. actually it would be logic, that all those skills would be flame damage. but ZOS made the dragonknight the fire class and doesnt want to have similar damage amongst the classes. so thats why templars are some kind of left alone by changes throughout the last year. its also a reason why they arent the best damage dealers, since there is no race buff for magic damage.

Want competitive pvp while being outnumbered? Tough luck, the devs clearly said you have to die in those situations

And if you want some science, the sun is a star which is formed by a gravitational collapse of some matter clouds. When the core gets so hot/dense, it jump starts into nuclear fusion.

Fire is a fart in the wind compared to the energy a sun gives lol.
