Does base skin tone affect Dunmer vamp skin paleness??

Hey..
Recently rerolled my vampire and at the creation, made the skin as pale as possible so the change would not be so notable to vampire skin color.. This decision was based on my previous Dunmer vampire, who had a mid tone skin originally and npow that the new one is vampire too, the stage 1 looks MUCH more pale than the original vampire does. Also, are all the makewups supposed to be barely visible? I mean i used Crimson flame lipsticj on the former vampire and it looks vibrant and as crimson as can, but now i took black eyeliner and lipstick, but those are barely visible. Yet the crown crate makeups the royal purple and crimson flame both seem to be as colorful as ever..
Just question, since if the base skin color affects the vampire skin base color, i will reroll this with darker skin, now that she still is a lowbie and not too much done.

✭✭✭✭The base skin color of every character does affect vampirism (as does eye color, fun fact!). The issue with vampirism is that it is a skin mesh- meaning that sweet tat you got is faded, not because that is how dead skin works (it doesn't fade lol), but instead is because the mesh applies over everything else. Some things are exceptions; as noted, the crimson flame lipstick. Another one that is excepted for some reason is the bouyant marks (the reward for completing the Vvardenfell main questline), which appear vibrant electric blue over the vampirism.

✭Best way to test is get on PTS and make a couple dunmer with the two ends on the spectrum. Then apply vampire to both. PTS gives you an allotment of crowns to test out cs itmes, most cost 1 crown such as the vamp or ww.

Minor nitpick, it's a unique texture, not a unique mesh.
I thought I had the eye color changes documented somewhere, but I can't find them now.0 -

Hmm.. I have always suspected, that the vampire color changes are some sort of overlay judging from how they look at certain situations.. One would wish to use word unnatiral, but somehow it feels wrong on vampire
I wonder, if i use my token, will i be able to see the colors of my current vaire stage on character recustomisation screen if i choose current appearance or at all the avaiölable appearances? Just wondering, because making everything right in the creation is a pain, and simple skin tone alteration would be woryth the cost when considering that new reroll might take up to 5 deletes or more if extremely unlucky.>>PC-EU Mostly PVE. Yes. You can test out changing the vampire skin color and eye color with an appearance change token. I do this with my vampire characters.pc na | trash tier0 -

Here is a photo of my warden, stage 1 vamp:
And here is my sorc, also stage 1 vamp (I put the same white outfit on her to highlight the difference):

Your characters have some great... assets.Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.
