@Odnoc if your not a completionist then your opinion on the matter is moot. Personally I love rare hard to get items but it wouldn't a wise decision to lock rare hard to get items behind one spefic event, that's how you lose future completionist as a costumer base

I am a completionist so guess my opinion isn’t moot. Just spent 8 hours straight getting 50 boxes on one of my toons, hence the posting all night.

Ok I just guess your ability to empathize with others doesn't exist or you haven't used it in a long time.

No, I just don’t think people should expect to get everything, completionist or not. I also don’t think people should expect ZOS to cater to them, and I don’t think they should whine if they don’t.

The event is about the anniversary, the extra xp, motives, ect is just extra. That’s just the way it is, no empathy needed.

And also, I don’t think you have much room to talk considering you said if I don’t play a certain way my opinion doesn’t matter. I pay just as much, if not more to play, two accounts, plus all the crowns I buy, as the next person, my opinion matters just as much as theirs.

i didnt say your opinion didnt matter i said it was a moot point wich means its debatable or of little or no value, this is because a none completionist wouldnt understand until presented with a differing point of view. you claim you are a completionist so great your perspective at this point is coming acros as a lack of empathy. if i pay money for a product im alowed to present them with my expectations in fact thats why mmo's have forums (a cheap way to get good ideas for there products). but you and the other posters in this post came here not to critique or praise zos decision but to ridicule others for pressenting reasonable expectations to zos. seriously whats wrong with having expectations for the products you pay for isnt that how capitilism works or do you favour a system in wich companies take advantage of its customers.

So says the person who tells everyone else that if they don't play the game the same way he does then their opinion is moot...

Not everyone just you and the op so far. I'm saying none completionist opinions won't come from genuine place of understanding. Even if your not a completionist you can acknowledge and empathize with them wich is the point I was making in the fact that if you truly are a completionist you certainly don't empathize with other completionist. Your ability to do 50 dailies on at least one too and I can assume more on there as well is an ability that's mutually shared. If there upset and irritated who cares you saying they have no right or are entitled helps no one and does nothing but remove any possible constructive dialogue.

I haven't said that at all, as it happens. All I did was make the point that you can't dismiss other people's opinions as moot and then accuse them of lacking empathy towards other people  !

I haven't previously made any comment at all about completionists, but as far as I'm concerned they're as entitled to play the game their way as anyone else is, neither more nor less. Like everyone, they can't expect to get everything from an event based on random drops over a short period of time, and certainly not in one single run of the event which I'm sure will be repeated.

I recently got some rewards from the Jesters and New Life Festivals that I didn't get last year, and in time I'm sure I'll get some other outstanding ones from the various events that crop up from time to time as and when they come round again. I'm not a completionist in the sense that you mean although I do want to get all the rewards in time and I prefer to earn them myself rather than buy them from the Guild Traders or, in due course perhaps, the Crown Store. However, I don't put a time limit on that and there are obvious reasons why ZOS wouldn't want the RNG set so that everyone got all the rewards inside a few days the first time round.

saying its moot isnt the same as dismissing. for instance i can have opinions about certain political involvements but just because i have one doesnt mean im an expert or the right person to be the spokesman for said movement. just saying going out calling a group of ppl snowflakes and entitled doesnt sound like there trying to see things from there perspectives but i can be wrong and everyone everywhere wants everything for free including myself (the injured veteran with over a decade of service) or maybe labling ppl is wrong.
