More "II" Base Game Dungeons & Monster Sets

Right now, if you take the "lone" base pledges (ex. Tempest Island) it says [Tempest Island I] which means it is leaving room for another Tempest Island?



I am hoping for II dungeons for:

Selene's Web

Tempest Island

Vaults of Madness

Volenfell

Blackheart Haven

Arx Corinium

Blessed Crusible

Direfrost Keep



Also, If we are to add more monster sets, they have to be the same "type" of monster set as the previous dungeon, as the current I & II dungeons follow that example, for example Fungal Grotto I & II are both Stamina DPS monster sets (Kra'gh, Spawn of Mephala), Crypt of Hearts I & II are both Magicka DPS sets (Illambris, Nerien'eth), Banished Cells I & II both summon pets (Shadowrend - Clannfear, Maw of Infernal - Daedroth)


So, Selene's Web II would be a stam dps monster set

Tempest Island II - stam dps set

Vaults of Madness II - magic dps set

Volenfell II - tanking set

Blackheart Haven II - tanking set

Arx Corinium II - stam dps set

Blessed Crusible II - healing set

Direfrost Keep II - magic dps set

With strength and intelligence comes hard work.

Which is why not a lot of people are strong nor intelligent.

    Right there is room open for those dungeons, but i dont think there will be any updates and second versions of them soon. The devs focus mainly on new zones and stuff, rather than a base game improvement. You see that by looking at their time table. Once per year a base game improvement patch and all other patches are about a new zone or dungeons, which costs money. And they cant bring seconds versions just like that, since its a lot of work and they want money for that work. Thats why they cant update existing dungeons, since they would have to lock one version behind money, while the other is for free.

    Not for free, last time I remember we still have to buy the base game to play.The game isn’t F2P (yet). So adding stuff to the base game will probably get new players.

    I know they mostly focus on dlc content for the already establish community but base game updates can get new players, the best example of that is One Tamriel.

    and when was one tamriel?
    they make one base game improvement patch per year and there are also things included like housing and stuff. the chance to update those dungeons is very small, especially that change wont attract newer players. that would be more interesting for existing player, since new players firstly dont even really get to do dungeons.

    Was speaking to some of my guild mates about this just the other day.

    Yes it would be ace to have all those dungeons have a version 2. When you do pick up the quest it does flash across your screen and number one.

    So I do think at some point they will add them but its going to be when the normal dungeons really have gotten stale and to mix it up abit.

    Hey there might be even space to add version 3...would be cool :)

    Like anything will have to wait and see.

    I would love a #2 added to those. Benefit, less work on dev team. Would be nice to have a dungeon DLC included with every one that needs it as well.

    From what I understand, the original plan was, all of the base game dungeons would have eventually received a vet version. So things like Volenfell and Direfrost were designed with back doors to set up a Vet Volenfell or Vet Direfrost. Vet City of Ash was the only one to actually release, however. After that, the team moved on to making new dungeons for Imperial City.

    Keep in mind, this was back when the game was entirely subscription based, and there was no way to play dungeons at a level other than what they were intended for.

    I forget exactly when the vet versions went away, and dungeons were designed to have a normal and vet mode, with the original vet dungeons being split off as Pt I and Pt II, but none of the other Vet versions were ever developed (so far as I know).

    Cool as they'd be, I don't really expect to see any of those dungeons again.
