Missing Host.Developer and Launcher.Settings .txt files

i am having a launcher problem it wont open the icon will show for a couple seconds then disappear i noticed i was missing a couple files does anyone know how to get them i tried reinstalling it and just about everything else but my launcher still won't open

I'm also having the issue of missing files. The only two files I have when I download the client from my ESO.com account are the Launcher folder and the Uninstall folder. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing several times with no difference.

I posted the content of those files so you could manually create them yourself and put them in the proper directories, and then attempt to continue.

If you do that, what happens?

P.S. the log file can probably be left blank as long as it exists.

I have also seen programs fail to work if they attempt to write anything to a file inside the "Program Files" or "Program File x86" directory if the person running them isn't an administrator.

Try right clicking the installer and running as admin.

Happened to me as well, reinstalling the game now because I found this out too late. Apparently you have to run the eso installer, then it will create a zenimax folder with a launcher folder inside. Cancel the download, and then move your elder scrolls online folder into the newly created zenimax folder. You will have a launcher folder and an elder scrolls online folder inside of this folder. Run the launcher now, it will verify files... good to go. If I had a little bit more patience I'd be playing right now lol
