That sounds like the opposite of kindness, unless they were light attack spamming and it was a vet hm pledge... then understood lol.
For me? Having gear crafted for me when first starting out. Being tutored on addons and how useful they are, along with other useful in-game info.

He very kindly sent me the Columbine back, along with a nice note that Columbine was worth a lot more than 20g apiece and maybe I might want to try using Master Merchant.
I owe my fortune in ESO to that guy.

That's what really makes this game worthwhile.
Without me ever asking for anything, some dude bought me my first mount and made me more than 2 sets of training gear, all purple. All he asked for in return that i extend that favour to others as and when I was in a position to do so. I like to think I've kept that promise.
I'm pretty sure most of the unsavoury characters that now populate this game do so because they themselves were treated like *** in the beginning. They got screwed over and it's that mindset that has remained with them.

I was a newb and my young bow/bow stamsorc was dying repeatedly to mobs in a public dungeon. Out of the blue I get a group request and accepted it. I found myself with a top level templar (CP530 I think it was back then) who proceeded to ‘escort’ my bowgirl through the dungeon – letting her do most of the killing but simply exploding her foes when they began to overwhelm her.
I vividly remember being in total awe of the elegance and power of what I now realize was a skilled (and kindly) magplar.
He led her through each of the bosses, the group challenge, the skyshard and finally to the dungeon’s exit.
That incident actually had a major impact on me. Rather than rage quitting the game for being too hard/frustrating, I stuck with my bowgirl and she now happily solos public dungeons, dolmens and most WBs. I was also inspired to create my own magplar who quickly evolved into my primary character and a fine healer. Both are CP720 solid characters now.
The icing on the cake for me is that several times, my magplar has been able to provide that same kind of support to younger players struggling in a public dungeon or with a WB.

I was stopped by a high level player who noticed I was just running all over. He then asked me if I had a horse and I said no then he gave me 10k to buy one and told me to start training it immediately. Ever since then I would occasionally go into stonefalls and find some new player to give them a horse, that is untill they made them free from leveling.

I had no gems so had to rez at the wayshrine. As I pressed to rez, I saw a max level character rush in and take the chest.
I was annoyed (more with myself for dying) but accepted it happens and continued on my harvesting way. I then receive a mail from the person who opened the chest, with a message saying he had seen what happened but was too late to help me out and so had sent me all the contents of the chest including the gold!
I was touched by such a kind & generous deed, which I try to pass on whenever I can.
