Morrowind being part of base game & pre-order bonuses at store?

What's the point of telling us to pre-order a chapter when the pre-order bonuses will be in the store later on? Doesn't really seem fair for the people who pre-ordered..

    Pre-order bonuses have never been anything more than to make investors happy.

    However think of it on the grounds you don't pay for them if you pre-order, but you have to pay more later as they're not free with your purchase.

    If having things a year earlier doesn't matter to you, then go ahead, be patient, and save your money.

    It's not exclusive. It just means you get to play it earlier than release date.

    Other games do the same...pre-order and you get early access.
    If you think it's not fair then don't pre-order.

    For my pre-order I got to play the game as soon as it released. Whether money or crowns I'd have purchased the content anyway, just like I did all the dlc.

    Could I have waited? Yes. Do I enjoy the content to the point I think the cost of pre-ordering it was totally worth it? Yes.

    If someone doesn't mind the wait, or isn't sure about the content, then by all means wait.

    No real surprise. Most games give out previous expansions like candy when the new expansions drop. Though hopefully Zo$ will have learned that something like Battlegrounds should've been part of the game update from the beginning.

    Agreed. While I do think it's nice for people who do not own morrowind yet, but boi, I surely do feel ripped off rn. If I knew that it would be base game eventually, I wouldn't have preorder it and waited, spend the money on something else, cause I do have other priorities. Now I feel I just wasted with summerset as well. Who knows when that because base content. Pfff.

    I remember when Half life 2 came out. They gave a free copy of Half Life out when you purchased it. But I already owned Half Life. Funny my life wasn't wrecked because people that were coming late to the party were blessed. This is not a new business model folks. Sheesh. (Am I allowed to say Sheesh?) B)

    Was Morrowind unplayable for you this past year?

    Will Morrowind become unplayable for you when Summerset is released?

    I feel annoyed that ZOS didnt release them like this in the first place. I feel like ZOS went for a money grab when they knew full well this "Chapter" was just several DLC put together.
