✭Everyone saying nord I'm gunna assume is wrong, the amount of nord players I've met/seen is very high. Even though they're not that great passives wise, they're still picked often.
That said I'd say probably imperial are the least picked (and orc second)Xbox one EU

Xuhora✭✭✭✭✭in my opinion the Nords since the passives are pretty darn useless. That said i main a Nord Templer Heal and i've cleared all Vet Content up to vAS+2 which we are currently learning.

✭✭✭nord and imperials are decent tanks...still nobody likes them somehow. same with breton, nice healers and nce magicka, but not popular for damage dealers.
I have a Breton DPS sorcerer. No one's ever accused me of not being able to keep up. I think people are far too concerned with the meta and overlook a lot of perfectly viable choices.

nords are decent tanks but argonians and imperials have better passives for it and they arent really good for dps or healing for the most part
ppl just play them if they are skyrim fan boys

Huh? Imperials have excellent racial passives for tanking, and are the second most-recommended race for that role (behind Argonians). The paywall is def. a deterrent, though.

With that (and this is certainly not fact), here is how I see race popularity from the player base:
Altmer
Khajiit
Bosmer
Argonian
Redguard
Dark Elf
Nord
Imperial
I don't play PvP, so this list probably changes in that arena.

duendology✭✭✭✭✭I don't see many Argonians. It's hard to determine about other races because most often than not their features are hidden under costume or armor..except Bosmers.. they're generally short as hell.
Funny thing is that I'd like to say that I am indifferent about ESO races... but then again for some unknown reason Bosmers get royally on my nerves.PC/NA

Raraaku✭✭✭✭Argonians are arguably the best tank class with their passives, plus their naming conventions are so much fun.
I don't see too many Bosmer around when I play (PvE), unless the height scalar allows them to be at least "regular" height.
I don't see many Nords or Orcs, even though I main an Orc tank. I also enjoy the Nords, maybe not so much their passives (which are decent) but also for their relatively easy and cool naming conventions as well.
Its also hard for me to distinguish if a man-based race is a Nord/Imperial/Breton unless there's an icon under the nameplates I'm missing.Back from a much needed break. || I like having too many projects and working on them all at once.

1) Since Imperial race is behind a paywall - They may be the least popular race.
But I doubt it since it's passives are very useful and many like to play Imperials.
2) Argonians -I think the overall style of the lizard characters is kind of bad.

Bosmer height can be normal. Bosmer and Orc also both have serious PvP strengths, Nord not nearly as much. Breton has Healer making them high demand too.Maiden Maura - Xbox NA
