Here are the dates from the last sale. Unfortunately I’m from NA so the sale for me ended 1/1. I was busy with the holidays and family at that time, so pretty much missed out on the sale.

Gonna stock up north of 100k crowns on the next sale.

“Here are the ESO Holiday Sale details, per platform:

    PlayStation®4
    North America – 12/19 until 1/1
    Europe – 12/22 until 1/19
    Xbox One
    All regions – 12/22 until 1/4
    PC/Mac
    All regions – 12/21 until 1/4”

Or ( and I like your idea and reasoning by the way) they have done the math and know that people will buy what they have put in the Crown $tore irrespective of crowns being on sale. They put up stuff today to get the impulse buys and perhaps in a week or month or never they go on sale. If they know anything it is how to price their swag.

Nahh... tons of people I know in game who do not use the forums only ever buy crowns on sale. They stockpile until the next sale.

Few do I know that ever buy crowns full price

Guessing ZOS's data on the matter is a little more accurate and meaningful than yours.

Smug Comment... but also twisting what I said.

I never stated I had any data, I just stated an observation that most people I know in game buy crowns only when they are on sale and stockpile.

However... aren't your own comments regarding ZOS data just based on your own assumption? Have they ever officially made a statement anywhere on here that shows any data regarding when and how people buy crowns?

Anyways, I'm guessing a sale won't be too far around the corner .

There was a month-long sale that ended just over two months ago.

    Don't blame ZOS.

We are in April, there was no month long sale 2 months ago. The last sale on Crowns was in December. That mirrors the year before, when Crowns where on Sale end of 2016, then a sale for last years Anniversary in April 2017.

Ummmmmm, from memory it ended around the 22nd of Jan... It is now the 5th of April. Two months from 22nd of January is 22nd March (because you obviously struggle to 'maths').

They have no obligation to hold a sale.

No need to be so rude.... dude.

Perhaps my post seemed rude to you so you wrote this, no worries.

Keeping on track and not taking things personally, I certainly haven't suggested ZOS have an "obligation" to give its players a Crown Sale... those are your words. I have just expressed the pattern based on last years sales periods that there should be a sale soon, and that many of us would like a sale... soon.

Another member has posted the dates of the last sale, which show different dates for different servers and countries. That's pretty helpful.

Anyways, reading through these posts I'm not sure why so many people are being so rude and attacking each other, getting heated up. It's kind of playground mentality. It's just a discussion on the fact that some would like a sale soon.

I'm also puzzled on why some people would be against a sale, but heyho, each to their own.

At the end of the day I have 255 crowns left and would like a sale. I'll hold on untill there is a sale, even if that is in 6 months time.

It's been at least 4 months since a crown sale...I know the last one ended before January, I can look at my purchase history and see buys on 12/22.

My crown pot has emptied out and I only buy during the sale, so if they want more money from me, they need a sale.

This "pattern" thing is probably the main reason why there's no sale right now. It needs to be broken.
ZOS doesn't want us to include crown sales into our consuming behaviour as anything reliable. They want us to buy MORE crowns when they're on sale ('cause who knows when they're going to be on sale next time) and also to buy full price instead of waiting for a sale ('cause that shiny thing in the store, and not knowing when the next sale will be).

We (as a generality, I know there are people out there who don't buy crowns, incl. myself) will spend more on crowns overall if we don't know when and if sales are happening.

Irregardless the simple facts are that

you dont have facts. you have supposition. the only fact here is ZOS have more data, and accurate data, than you have.

I would buy a bunch of crowns if there was a crown sale. I think crowns are pretty overpriced, so I no longer buy them unless they are on sale. I do buy lots of them when they go on sale though. Perhaps they should reduce the price of crowns overall, or reduce the cost for ESO plus members. But yeah... I think a springtime crown sale would be super awesome and I will shell out actual dollars if it comes to be. Until then, I will be frugal with my crown store purchases.

I realize they have no obligation, but sometimes if we ask really nicely, they will do a lovely crown sale. :D

I agree with above poster. Year round crown price should be 50% off sale price. On top of that also add a 30% sale price for the bigggest bundle every once in awhile.

Some may think I’m being sarcastic but I really am not. I’ve been an avid gamer for near 2 decades now and many I think would attest to this and that is back then many games gaming items wasn’t that insanely overpriced.

Agree. There should be a spring time crown sale. I no longer buy crowns unless they're on sale because I go through too many of them to justify paying full price. With crates, housing, and limited time items it really eats up your crowns. If there was a sale, I would also stock up on 100k crowns easy. Until then I'm being as hesitant as possible about buying things. :)
