As far as we know, yes

If it was a true give away they wouldn't have taken it out within an hour of an update

Your using future events to define whether an action was an exploit. Before ZoS took it out of the store, the people buying could not have been sure.
Let me remind everyone how the Daedric thrones incident went down. This is the tweet ZoS made a full 2.5 to 3.5 hours after the vendor appeared.
“This weekend only! Get your FREE Skull Daedric Throne from Luxury Furnisher Zanil Theran in Coldharbour. Happy Midyear Mayhem! #ESO”

1 million gold isnt exactly much in the grand scheme of things a bit of telvar farming and you can make that easily...

Unless someone who purchased it mentions what happened somewhere you'll never know. ZOS won't comment on this.

Until this very moment I did not realize that the price wasn't intentional!
LOL! I got about 100 of them. I just assumed everyone else did, too.

Then why didn't they just leave the cold harbor estate at 1g then rather than upping it in price for the rest of the entire game that was to cautious to buy it?

True, but they should have just left it 1g anyway cause that's what the one's that didn't care if it turned out to be an exploit or not and the majority of the game barely even have that much gold at one time anyway

And what if they don't know? Those who quote "caveat emptor" must be prepared to accept the exact opposite.
Under what exact context is this a Glitch and not a Pricing Mistake.VaranisArano wrote: »We agree in the TOS not to exploit glitches.
They probably couldnt take it back from people. Crowns have a RL monetary value and constitute a sale. Once you sell something to somebody you cant take it back just because you charged the wrong price... thats your own fault for not checking the price before you offered it for sale.
