DeadlyPhoenix✭✭✭✭✭I've solo'd almost every non-DLC vet dungeon but not on hard mode. I've done a few of the hard modes and for the most part they aren't much harder, just not as forgiving of mistakes.
I run a magsorc though so it's probably one of the better classes for soloing.
VMA was hard at first, but the hardest part is getting flawless your first time. Once you do, you begin to notice it's not as tough as you once thought, just needed to learn more about the way each arena works.
Same can be said of vet dungeons really. There are still some fights such as vCoA II that I wont even attempt the final boss. It's too much of a headache.Edited by DeadlyPhoenix on April 5, 2018 10:27PM2 -

Yes, these were definitely tough fights back when I didn't know the game nearly as well haha....
I think if you put me in my shoes back then, with the knowledge I have now, I probably wouldn't have had nearly as much trouble.1 -

Really soloing them is mostly about patience and paying attention. Some of the builds I use dont give the best damage or even best defense, but a decent mix of the two.
Ultimately it comes down to learning the mechanics of any given fight. Knowing when to block, dodge, purge, etc.
As to a build, one of my current ones I like that make things super simple, I've posted here on the forums.

This is a simple one bar build that is very effective. If you're good at bar swapping you can get great numbers while maintaining high sustain, damage and defenses.
It's not the best build by any means, but I don't chase meta, I build things the way I like them

vMA on my stamblade bow/bow build was probably the hardest challenge I've done however.1 -

✭Vma is not that difficult, I think soloing some vet dungeons would be more difficult.
But I assume most people like me don't have the urge or need to solo vet dungeons as you get nothing from it, would rather save time and group.Xbox one EU

It all depends on what you’re looking to get out of this game. A lot of ppl love challenging content like vMA so I wouldn’t call it aweful.Some normal dungeon I did when farming some item set I need/want.
Unlike the rest of y'all, I can't do vMA and won't solo vet dungeons because that sounds awful.
If you just find it too difficult atm I’m sure it’ll become more appealing to you overtime. Also the first vMA complete feels waaaaay tougher.
