[PC NA] Having massive latency spike then disconnect. Started this past Monday (April 2, 2018)
Starting on Monday (4/2/18) my home gaming desktop playing ESO will have latency spikes to where it says 999+ and then I lose connection. This happens within 10 minutes of logging into the game on any character. Normally my ESO latency is 90-110 and I seldom have performance issues (been playing for over two years now). Oddly enough I tried taking my crappy laptop to work and it runs eso on the WiFi network fine (just reduced graphics). I've tried rebooting my home modem & router. The router has the latest firmware. I have no idea why this would have started out of the blue. Internet speed test check out fine. I have no problem streaming Netflix or other videos on my computer(s) and TV.
Anyone have any ideas as to why it would just randomly start like this? Like I've said, I've played for over two years and never had disconnect issues unless ESO was having DDoS attacks.
I've looked into the ESO Help and only thing I can find in regards to fixing latency / disconnects is to edit port forwarding but I don't think that will do anything for me since this issue just randomly started happening.
