So, did they just announce this motif being in the drops a few short days after a limited-time offer run in the crown store? If those are dropping from the Anniversary boxes, and I had just spent $40 US in the crown store for these, I imagine I'd be a little pissed off.

Yep, it seems that the 12 daily reward cap was a rumor. I have tested myself and got more. My bad, as usual I'm reading quite a few things in parallel and seem to have mixed things up this time.

Yep, also the Great House motifs (Hlaaalu, Telvanni, Redoran) can only be pickpocketted, but the drop rate for those is quite good. I was farming those a while back and I was able to pick up one every ~20-30 minutes, and 2-3 in total until I reached the limit of 140 green or better items for fencing. I've gotten upwards of 80 over a month, so they are very common. The price had already dropped to 10-12K gold per page before the event. By comparison I've spent quite a bit of time in Vvardenfell over a few months, having cleared the area on 5 characters, and opened hundreds of chests, but only got 3 Buoyant Armiger pages in total, even after competing the main quest and various achievements (Savior of Morrowind) and with Treasure Hunter CP passive unlocked - those have been stated by the developers to increase the chances of finding pages. The prices were upwards of 150K on those pages in guild stores, which reflects their rarity. I have gotten 4 of them having done almost 80 dailies in the first day of the event, and 3 Worm Cult pages. The sample is yet to low to estimate the relative and absolute drop rates for each motif though. I expect to complete Worm Cult by the end of the event, but I will keep every other motif page in storage for later sales, considering the depressed prices.
