2h count as 2 piece, who get most buff?

I would say magblade. Here are my reasons.
Pve, it’s pretty easy to say master architect give the 2nd most dmg gain after acuity. And obv only nightblade blade and warden (templar ulti regen is worse) benefit from master architect. For pvp, most magdk magplar already running 552, I hardly ever see a magwarden. Stam either already do 552 or use master bow + asylum 2h. It’s true magplar can drop dw after summerset, but clearly magsorc magblade get more from able to do 552 as pure ranged.

I would say Bow builds and Two-Hander builds actually. Dual Wield won't be seen as absolutely necessary once Summerset drops.

Bow builds =/= pressing whatever key snipe is on. There are plently of builds that have a legit rotation and can pull solid numbers, not good enough that a raid leader would want them, but I think that is because of the infamous "snipe spammers"

MagDK and MagPlar definitely benefit from this, since they won't have to dual wield to use 5-5-2. Both can utilize Zaan so monster sets add a lot of DPS.

I'm thinking Elfbane+BSW+Zaan with an Inferno Staff will be powerful on DK with jewelry retraiting.

For Magplar I'm thinking Zaan+Acuity with a lightning staff. Not sure about the 2nd 5-piece, maybe Moondancer or Architect.

My two handed stamplar will probably get the biggest buff. I'm aiming to get him to 30k self buffed dps, at which point I'll happily take him into any content.

Honorable mention to the bow builds out there! Can finally use a monster set, though tbh I'm not quite sure there are many to choose from. Probably best would be selistrix or storm fist (specifically on a sorc).

I'm no expert on builds but considering most my characters run destro/resto or destro/destro this is going to be a huge improvement  Finally I won't have to choose between a cool monster proc vs. extra set proc.

For PvE, largest buff will be for staff users. 2h/bow may see a small change to the top end and bow/bow will see a marginal increase at top end.

Everyone who doesn't have vMA, asylum, master's weapons will of course see more benefit.

Mag dps will see the most benifit in PvE. PvP, prbly like someone else mentioned, 2H/Bow gankers

Though it'll require all weapons to be from the same set now, so the bonuses never drop off (good thing I already had a TFS mace in my bank for a just in case occasion)

Another type of build that will get a buff (besides the obvious) are those that use different 5 pieces on different bars.

For example, take the classic Spinner/Lich/Monster build. Now we go Spinner front bar with 4 body pieces, Lich Back bar with 4 body pieces, and a monster set. Next patch that same build can go with only 3 of each set on the body/jewelry, so they effectively gain not 1, but 2 set pieces. Where you used to be able to squeeze a monster set, know you could do something like 1 monster piece and 3 willpower.

This is mostly PVP related, but it could spill into PVE DPS as well. Just spit balling here, but something like Front bar is 5 Damage Set, 2 Monster set, 3 Moondancer/Master architect, and Asylum weapon. When you swapped, you would be able to use moondancer for synergies or MA for ultis. This idea has been there a while, but now that you can keep your monster helm and synergies seemingly working better, I bet there is an uptick in use.

I think we will see a lot more Shieldbreaker on the backbar (bowbar). You can wear a full damage set, a monster set plus shieldbreaker and an additional Master/maesltrom/asylum weapon. Seems pretty good against Magicka-classes. Shieldbreaker on bow is strong af.

The ones really benefiting from this change are magicka setups, not stamina, stamina will still run dw/bow, because that's the setup that does the most dps, two handed or bow on front are both garbage, and 1 more set piece won't change that.

This is also much better for stamina pvp, not pve.

I dont agree. Most effective bow/2h builds are effective because they use asylum and/or master weapon skills. Unless "they" change the 2h asylum/master weapons so as to give them a monster-set bonus type (2pc) nothing will change. Unslotting the asylum/master bow in favour of 2pc. monster wont happen.

Exactly what i said. However, I like the idea of buff mag. It’s been stam meta for way too long.

I am pretty sure Magdk easily gets the biggest buff.

With sets you want always on like Silks of the Sun (or Elf bane). And the monster helmets like Grothdar and Zaan are so synergistic with their melee mage kit.

That’s already what they run in pvp, pve wise I agree, but that’s thx to arcane elfbane jewelry next patch.

Wearing a front bar staff from a 5 piece set and a back bar staff from another 5 piece set means you'll be missing a 4th item bonus from one of the sets the whole time.

So if you had a single monster piece + 3 willpower, that single monster piece could be negated by the missing 4th set bonus.

im definitely un-slotting my asylum great sword for a 5 piece. having the extra ulti really does not even matter as a NB since our ulti is so cheap its up fast without it. now maybe for a different class (stam sorc maybe since they depend on DB) they would want to keep it. but even then im sure people will think of a better 5 piece bonus to take rather thank utli on execute.
