Master Writ question

mike_skleinub17_ESO
I have two master writs that I don't have the style for. One needs Malacath Shields and the other needs Yokadon ( i know thats not right but its close) swords. I found the 2nd in a trader but hesitant to spend the 30k on it.

Question is: can I have more than one master writ of the same craft at the same time? I've gotten other masters since these two, but not for Blacksmithing or Wood. If I can't then I may drop them. I'm sure i'll find the styles some day but if I cant have more than one writ then its not worth waiting

You cannot have 2 master writs for the same craft (e.g. 2 master blacksmithing writs) active in your quest log at the same time.

The two styles you need are dropping from the anniversary boxes so the prices in guild traders are dropping, so maybe hold onto them a bit longer.

You can only have one master writ per crafting line open at any one time. Unfortunately if you accepted a master writ that you cannot do, you either have to:
    - find/learn the necessary items to create it, or
    - cancel the quest **doing this will remove that master writ from the game. You will not get the invitation back, nor will you be able to complete it in the future. It will be lost forever.

You happened to ask this question at the right time, however. Most motifs, especially less rare ones like Malacath and Yokudan will see their prices drop significantly over the next 10 days as the market gets saturated thanks to the Jubilee event.

I was seeing Malacath and Yokudan both already being listed for less than 10k in several traders yesterday (XB-NA) and that's just the first day of the event. Just keep your eyes peeled and you'll find what you're looking for.

Also, if you're in a guild with decent people, put the word out for the specific motif chapters you're looking for. My guildies and I are always buying stuff for guildmates and just getting payment whenever. More eyes on the traders always helps.

Ok i'll wait for awhile thanks. I'll just hold off on opening the packs as well.

If anyone could please point me in the direction of a trader that might be or was selling these I would appreciate it. XB-NA, even just the city would be helpful. I check quite a few this morning but man that can take hours just searching. Really need a keyword search when shopping

For yesterday, at least, I actually had more luck finding good variety and decent pricing in the main trading cities (Mournhold, Wayrest, Rawl'kwa, Elden Root.) I completely forgot to check Belkarth, but hit most of the mid-tier cities (Ebonheart, Daggerfall, Marbruk, Stormhold and Evermore), but was disappointed with the lack of recent listings. A couple days into the event should see those listings catch up a bit though.

Restricting your listing search to epic (purple) motifs should reduce the amount of clutter you have to browse through. I also will just hold down on the d-pad as watch for the "known/unknown" font at the top to flicker, then I'll go back up and see if it's something I want to buy. That way you don't have to read each description. I'm also on XB-NA.
