    Raid Lead: Alright everyone, stock up on siege before we leave the gate. They took out the siege merchant NPCs with the guards so you can only buy siege at the home gates.
    ...
    Raid Lead: Everyone got their siege? Heading out soon.
    *Raid Lead heads out*
    ...
    *Five Minutes into Raid*
    Raid Member:Sorry guys, I ran out of siege weapons, I need to head back to the home gate.
    Raid Lead: I told you to go before we left home. Don't make me turn this raid around!

    Already happens when the Quartermaster doesn't spawn after getting killed.

    Guards are not meant to stop zergs, but rather to make it annoying and time consuming for solos and small groups to take large objectives, and to give defenders a chance to make it there.

    I would say their current strength and numbers are about where they should be.

    Not quite on topic, but I would also say that defenders could use some stronger tools to actually benefit from being in a fortified position, as attackers often have an advantage it feels like.

    CP Guards are getting a buff with Summerset, so sounds like we get to keep them.

    Apparently, guards will be tougher and hit harder in the Summerset patch, in CP campaigns. I don't see the issue with guards really. They've helped me a quite a few times with negates or CCs I didn't have to waste resources performing. They even debuff with puncture. I'm not complaining.

    I actually kind of like the idea of having to get siege at base. Add some strategy to going around and cutting the supply lines off. Would also have to have a limit to how much you can carry though or people would just mule it.

    That’s fine but just for the love of all that is holly; stop their CC. Nothing like having a magicka character walking into a resource only to have a bow ganker waiting for CC fest with no immunity time to start just plunking away.

    Those level 5 guards whooped the heck out of me in Sotha Sil. I couldn’t take a flipping resource.
