Got to character select but stuck on "requesting character load".

Still stuck. I did a repair on the launcher, reset my modem. I did get in a few times yesterday but not for long, now I'm stuck with requesting character load again.
Internet connection seems fine otherwise, Netflix streams just fine.

Are you still receiving the message "requesting character load" when logging into your character?

This may have been a temporary connection issue affecting your login. Please wait 15 minutes and then try loading in with your character again.

The next thing you can try is disabling your add-ons. Listed below are instructions on how to remove add-ons.

Go to the "Elder Scrolls Online" folder in My Documents.
Open the "live" folder (NA megaserver) or "liveeu" (EU megaserver).
Remove all files from the "AddOns" folder.
Remove all files from the "SavedVariables" folder.
Remove AddOnSettings.txt from the "live" folder.

Contacted my ISP. They did a reset. First two attempt to log in failed but atm I'm in the game. Let's hope it sticks.

Zoned to Mournhold, did writs, zone to Shadowfen for a survey. Then tried to port to my house in Elden Root, took forever so I quit the game and now back at Requesting Character Load.

The PC/Mac EU Megaservers did have some issues yesterday which should now be resolved. If you are still having loading issues, the next thing you can do is open a ticket with customer support.
