Here's to hoping summerset's mountain chain is explorable

After the outrage and all the memes surrounding vvardenfell's volcano taking up a significant portion of the map I really hope that the mountains are both explorable and have a reason to revisit them in summerset. If not then we will have another meme map with volcanos in summerset, like that meme map of orsinium if it had volcanos. If a dev can say if the huge mountains are fully explorable that would clear some of the fears around here

Some mountain exploration would be a very welcome addition.

I doubt they will be fully explorable. There might be some paths through them or some additional areas on them since the maps we've seen were done (as these were taken from play tests of an early build) but I really don't see us getting fully explorable mountains.

Even if we could walk across them freely I don't think the content would be located randomly half way up them, sure the map would be bigger but it would be empty wasted space.

Well, for one thing, Crystal Tower is on the northernmost mountain (or just behind it)

You can see towns right on the mountains.

I'm sure that there will be inaccessible parts. But for the most part it looks like there are things built into or on the mountains.
