Yah I can't find a 29.99 copy either. Only 39.99US for the standard edition. ~54 Canadian, 30 pounds. Had to use my VPN to stop it from defaulting to the CAN price every time, lol.

Awesome...but the GBP version is 19.99 GBP which is what it shows me when I use my VPN and connect to a UK server.
So as I thought, this is all about nothing. In fact the UK cost is less that the US one even if you take into account conversion, so the OP has got it wrong.
That's even less fair to the rest of the countries in Europe outside UK, because like I said its 30 EUR everywhere except UK, 20 GBP is only 23 EUR, which means rest of Europe is paying 7 euro's more !!!
How does this fit with VAT theory ??? I thought UK also pays VAT...
It's £19.99 for the base digital upgrade. If you want the collector's edition upgrade then it's £29.99
So for the Euro, is it 20 EUR and 30 EUR? Or 30 EUR and 40 EUR?
Yes it is 30 EUR for just the upgrade, collectors and the one which comes with the base game is 40 EUR0 -

✭✭As others have noted Europe has high sales taxes.
But also the product is priced for the market not for cost. If people in europe have more money to spend then the price of the product will be higher. I know UK wages aren't actually that high (thanks thatcher *cough*) but lots of other places in europe have very strong unions that keep wages high.2 -
