Problem with graphics card

So just last week, I was able to play this game on my laptop, no problem. But now, after an update, whenever I try to open this game, it immediately crashes on me. Had the same problem with another game I was trying to play that also had an update. After talking with their troubleshooting department, they told me it's because my graphics drivers are out of date. So I think it's the same problem here too. From what I understand, I need a card that is DirectX 11 compliant, and mine only goes up to DirectX 10.1. So according to the drivers site, there are no updates that I can install to fix this problem. So is there any sort of work around to this problem? Or am I just out of luck?

What is the graphics chip included in your laptop? If you are not sure, post the laptop model number and we might be able to identify. The game has required a DX11 card for a while now so it would be odd unless you had not tried in a long while to play.

I have a Dell Precision M4600, which has NVIDIA Quadro 1000M, plus intel graphics HD 3000.

I also found the option for the ESO starter to scan my computer for any issues, and saved that file, if that's helpful. I was just sure that it was my graphics card that was the problem, so I didn't post it anywhere yet.

Well that card does support DX 11 based on what I see. You may need to go into Nvidia control panel under manage 3D settings and select ESO and ensure it is set to use discrete graphics and not integrated.

It sounds like ESO might be trying to use the Intel graphics.

So I did what you said, but it's still crashing whenever I try to open the game. I'll try and send in a ticket and see if they come back saying that my graphics card is actually the problem. It looks like my Nvidia card was already selected as the primary card, so I'm not sure if specifically adding it to the list in the Nvidia control panel actually did anything.

    Hello,

    Dell Precision M4600 with

    CPU Core i7 2860QM ??
    GPU NVIDIA Quadro 1000M
    OS Windows 7, 8, 10 ?? x32 or x64?

    Last Intel Driver check version

Last Nvidia Driver check version (if u have out-date driver then make clean install with new one)

After that make "dxdiag" to see what kind of dx u gpu support

One more thing open eso launcher with Run as Administrator
