Stam Warden PVE set advice

Howdy,

I recently got my stam warden to cap during the jesters event, now I'm just trying to gear her up for PVE.

I'm thinking of getting a set of medium Hundings rage, as this seems like a good starting point, but whats the best to run with it?

I'll be doing dual wield front bar and bow back bar. So can run 2 full sets and a monster on the front bar, and drop one of them off on the bow bar.

For a very good initial set for stam dps i like running spriggan x5 and hundings x5. Keep spriggan on jewellery and 2 armor. That way you will go from 5 hundings with dw on your front to 4 hundings on the back.

For your 2 spare armor (head and shoulders) i suggest use a monster set like velidreth(cradle of shadows) or selenes (selenes web). Kragh (fg1)is also decent and easier to get.

Until you get the monster set just use a 2 piece that gives either stamina/stam recovery.

If you manage to get into a decent pve guild, which raids craglorn trials, look out for vicious ophidian.

In most cases, you cannot go wrong with vicious ophidian. Pairing that with hundings rage will give you a good starting point to do damage in trials and dungeons.

For even more damage, you want either a master bow or a maelstrom bow. Maelstrom bow is slightly better than the master bow in most cases, but the master bow is a great back bar weapon as well.

Stormfist is great on a stamina warden, the recovery lets you cast subterranean assault more often, which hits like a truck.

Single target: War Machine/Mechanical Acuity/Velidreth.
AoE: Twice Fanged Snake/Vicious Ophidian/Stormfist

The options above are definitely a good start though:)

Incidentally, how does Automaton stack up on a stamden?

I wouldn't use automaton considering several if your abilities will be poison rather than physical damage. Stam sorcs use automaton primarily because of hurricane.

I run powerful assault, twice fanged serpent, and a master and asylum bow but my set up is far from ideal and is just used when I'm not tanking.

as an add-on, what combination of weapons is best when dual wielding?

it always bugs me when i see stuff like this. A lot of people can't do trials so it woudl be nice if people would create ideas based off that also
