Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

When can we expect there to be an increase to housing furnishing slot(s)?

By now I think this a pretty fair question to ask - especially with these new houses (namely the Sanctuary and the princely dawnlight palace presumably on the horizon.)
I really think the housing community and all of the ESO community for that matter deserve to have this information confirmed by now, especially when you take in account the fact that these are only being sold for 3 day periods - I mean really?
Regardless of whether or not you feel ~$150 is a justifiable price for these upper echelon houses, it is CERTAINLY unjustifiable in my mind to do so given the obscurely low furnishing cap of 700, and with no actual confirmed reassurance from ZoS that we will see it in the (hopefully) near future.

    I couldn't agree more.

Though I got tired by now to write with passion about this along with some other users, it seems useless, they shortly replayed once (vaguely) and never again.
What I gather from all this: if they aren't going to increase slots, it's advantageous for them to not replay, because people keep spending on large houses in the hope.

I know a few who bought large houses in the hope the cap will be increased, sure as hell I won't do that.

The day they will announce an increase, that's the day I will take an interest in large houses.

The fact that they ignore these threads tell me the excuse about it due to the server is complete BS

Or they just don't see the point in giving the same answer five times a month.

If the issues with expanding housing slots are server-side, expect it to come after ZOS improves their servers.

If the issues with expanding housing slots are related to the ability of the client to load the instance, expect it to come after they up the technical requirements to play the game.

So...my best guess is it'll happen probably never.

According to Nestor, who was one of the playtesters who was invited by ZOS last week to test and discuss Summerset, they asked and ZOS said that it's not coming with Summerset. In fact, it sounds like it's not coming at all, since they blamed consoles for it.

So that's the problem, as usual (multiplatforms not evolving because consoles not up to the requirement). I'm not surprised at all, I wrote about that first as the reason we weren't getting increase months ago, what I do not condone is their silence, total absence of clarity about this.

They are adding the insult to release huge houses only, one after another (crazy prices justified by the huge and magnificent ) and do not provide us at least some more small/medium houses choices, since the situation is this and increase is not coming.
