Here's how it works: take any item in your inventory, and note the MM price of it. Do a WTB or a WTS in zone at that price. Immediately you will be inundated with people saying "WELL ACKCHEWALLY" and then posting their own MM/TTC price for the item.
Now normally in golf, the goal is as low a score as possible; in REVERSE golf, the person who gets the LARGEST discrepancy between what they WTB'd/WTS'd in chat and what someone else says is their MM/TTC data is the winner for that zone.
Best played if category of item is decided on beforehand: "consumables", "purple jewelry", "items under 1k", etc. Players all have to be in the same zone to play, and whispered MM/TTC prices don't count, as they can't be verified by the other players. For TTC prices, average is the price used. Each zone is worth one point; a full round of Pricing Reverse Golf means going through each zone, with a different category picked for each zone. Player with the most points at the end is the winner!
