[PC-NA] Aged Player Seeking Other Aged Players

Hello everyone. I'm a fairly new player, although I've had ESO for a couple years now I never really got pulled into it until recently. I personally prefer PvE content, exploring, questing, dungeons/delves, crafting, etc. I am looking for other players (preferably moving out of their 20s and older, I'm 31) who enjoy that same sort of content. I wouldn't say I'm RP friendly, but I do enjoy getting immersed in the world and characters (including my own), so you can expect a certain level of "reserved play", you won't find me attacking NPCs for no reason, or doing distracting things during "cutscenes". Myself (and others I play with) are not in a big rush, we take plenty of breaks and often have to step away to address real-life issues. We use a Discord server, profanity can be expected, the use of mind-altering substances is not frowned upon, and often occurs regularly in the group (I'm a toker fyi).

In gaming communities it can feel that way sometimes. I know I'm not old, just using sarcasting wording in my title. Haha

If you're aged at 31, makes me feel old at 33 LOL. I'm mostly a solo player, exclusively PvE. I'm currently working on becoming a master crafter (I probably have another year to go), but I am also looking to find others who are interested in running dungeons and such (at least more casual players like myself). I haven't done many Group Dungeons (again, very much a solo player).

But I got that aged requirement down!

Lol 31 - aged player!

50 this year and I play with plenty of people in their 20s, 30s, 40s 50s and some in their 60s

I can still rock the spot in pvp and love the rage I get from squeekers

From wikipedia but you'll find a few different ages for this:
"As of 2016, the average age for a video game player is 35, a number slowly increasing as people who were children playing the first arcade, console and home computer games continue playing now on current systems."

The oldest player in our (40 member) guild before he left was 59, another at 55.... We have at least a few players in their 40s.. Perhaps saying aged players was the wrong idea... maybe more "average aged players" under the circumstances.

Let's hope this isn't just because you're feeling a bit "aged" compared to 10 years ago XD

My title was mostly sarcasm, but I do notice a drastic disconnect with most people I play with in their early-mid 20s. I do not actually think I'm "aged", but I do feel older when I play with many younger people. And compared to 10 years ago? Yes, I feel much older. There is a massive amount of life wisdom gained through your 20s (in my case), and my outlook on life has all but completely changed from when I was 21.

Also, I'm glad to see that so many people well into adulthood play this game, and I did not mean to offend anyone.

I had this guy in my guild for about 6 months. He was 78 years old. He was incredibly fun in guild chat and had some great IRL stories. He finally had to take a break because his knees were hurting too bad to sit at the computer for very long. (Arrow to the knee?)

ESO has a pretty big spread demographically. I think to qualify as "aged" in this game you should be over 60 at least.

If there is truly a guild out there full of people 60 and over...well...I bet they have more fun than all of the rest of us combined!

I'm 56. I think I'm the average age.

Video arcade games such as Shark Attack were available in 1972
TV-based computer games e.g. Pong were available, I think in 1976.
Mattel hand-held games were available in 1978.
Arcade games such as Asteroids and Lunar Lander were available in 1979.
The first laser-disk based game was 'Dragon's Lair' - in arcades in 1980.
I bought an Atari 2600 in 1981, with Space Invaders; Missile Command; and QBert.

(the arcade version of Missile Command had three reverse-mouse rollers for those that may have forgotten)

I bought a Nintendo in 1992 with the Power Glove. Total Recall was the main game. This was when Sega was king.

I played Doom multiplayer in 1994 using IPX networking protocol on work's Netware LAN.
The Sims was released in late 1999 and was the first game designed to include player-modified content.
TESIII Morrowind was released in 2002 and AFAIK was the first game to be supplied with it's own editing tools.

I look at computer games in the same light as card games; some are easy, some are meant to be played by adults, some are single player, others are multi player. The idea that computer games are both "new" and "for children" really does become tiresome 38 years after becoming an adult. Not having a go; just saying.

47 years old here. Played computer games from the beginning, yup i had atari and i played pong.
I like every aspect of the game disclude PvP, well i am rather bad at it. Any of you can feel free to add me as friend, will be happy to team up and have some fun. I play on the NA servers.
