Summerset Speculations: How do we wind up in prison this time?

Summerset is coming with yet another tutorial. (Source: at 5:45)

Elder Scrolls tradition is that new characters start in prison. For the vanilla game we were sacrificed and woke up in Coldharbour, Morrowind we were captured by slavers. But Queen Ayrenn isn't a Daedric Prince or a slaver, so how will new players end up in prison this time?

Arrested for crossing the border illegally.

Then we have to help Raz catch the nefarious Veiled Heritance agents defying Her Majesty's orders to open the borders to anyone and everyone.

Though, those poor agents might have a teeny-tiny point when it comes to my Dark Brotherhood Silencer. I fear the crime rate on Summerset is about to go way, way up, Queen Ayrenn.

Traditionally, every TES game starts players off as a prisoner without explanation. It’s an easy way to let you fill in your own background while explaining why you start off with nothing of value.

I personally ended up in prison because I was allegedly caught by the king while “wooing” the Queen

I think prisoner should be the starting point of all main elder scrolls protaganists, I think only one elder scrolls game didn't follow that

We only cleared out the Veiled Heritance in Auridon, there's still a sizable number of them on Summerset who oppose the union of the races.

I was thinking along similar lines. Player is arrested by the Religious Persecutors prior to the border being opened. Player attempts to escape from jail with some initial help from that angry Dunmer girl, and succeeds, only to bump into Raz who was on his way to deliver the Queens message that all the foreigners should be freed anyway.
