Why are there no options for an Orc Pig Nose or a Elven Soft Serve Ice Cream Hair Style?

I just had an epiphany about what is wrong with the way Orcs and Elves alike look. In previous TES games the Orcs often had a very 'piggish' nose which fit the stereotype as Betmer (That they aren't) and it has been released with a very cool pointy hook nose. I like the Hook nose but wouldn't it be nice if we could have the pig nose as well?

Secondly, I really use to get a laugh about the alien styles that Elves wore. They had those elongated heads and big eyed features with the soft-serve hairdo. Why don't we see any of the old school soft serve styles from the past? I would really like to see ZoS make it so.

Point taken though I must add that Soft serve is also a hair style one which has a long and glorious elven tradition.

The whole "alien" aspect of elves has been more or less retconned at this point, especially for the altmer. Silly, swirling haircuts aren't "realistic".

As for the orc noses, I've never made one in ESO but I always sort of figured you could get a nose like that with the character creator. Can you not?
No one is saying there aren't multiple interpretations of the lore, and we're not arguing that ESO did it "wrong".

We're arguing that they decided to go for the most boring, mundane, seen-before interpretation possible. Like they almost always do, unless they can ride on the coat-tails of past games.

haha the "soft-serv hairdo" cracked me up, even though there's no other way to describe it. i was actually thinking about that the other day, and also decided it was a late 3rd-era fashion.

races on Nirn seem to evolve much quicker than on Earth; maybe the pig-nose was a later effect of selection, and ESO's lack of pigginess reflects the relative nearness to the Orsimer's elven forebears?

I mean, that picture kind of represents the difference between 2002 Bethesda and 2018 Zenimax. Make the bonemold grey and metallic, take away the iconic hairstyles because it's not grounded enough.

The only flaw in this line of thinking is that the Orcs are referred to the Pig People even in ESO.

I don't understand making it metal to begin with. All it takes is a simple reading of the lorebooks surrounding this style of armor and it becomes obvious it is made of a process combining resin and ground up bone. The historically tan color is probably by merit of the resin used and the process involved.

Because metal looks more "gritty" and "realistic", and more often than not that's what Zenimax goes with regardless of pre-established lore or more "fantastical" interpretations.

Well it is a case of evolution. At this stage there has not been enough doors slammed into their faces to turn the tip upwards. This will become more common as time passes as they will become genetically disposed to this feature.

Wtf pig nose and ice cream hair???

If you really want to point out character customisation flaws there are massive amount of scars and tattoos to choose from, but what about glasses? We have a scholar personality and librarian title but no option for a common facial accessory?

Soft serve and pig nose are staples of Elder Scrolls. I'm not so sure spectacles are so vital. Maybe a dwemer fob watch and monocle accessory would be nice though.... if you have a soft serve haircut.
