PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!
Actually, I am pretty lucky. In WOW I got a 3 man mammoth mount server first. Out of 25 people I rolled 100, but so did one of the other raid members. So, we were asked to roll again. I got a 100 the second time and got the mount.
Don't hate me for my cool mounts.
Secondly, you are off topic. The discussion here is not how I obtained my cool mounts, but why their sounds changed. Please stay on topic.
I have noticed recently that my Cold Flame Atronach and the Cinder Wolf no longer make their high pitched "woof squeak" when you hold down shift to sprint. Is this intended or a bug? I really liked the sound of the wolf and now its plain, quiet, boring and uninspiring.

All this salt. Guys don't post if you're not going to reply on topic.
So OP, I noticed this too. The wolves used to make these weird high-pitched sounds when you sprinted and sometimes when you jumped or was idle. Sounded exactly what it sounds like when you let air out of a balloon in short bursts, with the neck stretched.
After Dragon Bones, it stopped. I think it was a stealth fix, or I missed it in the patch notes.

Not even close, Im just not stupid and understand development costs. Id rather have mandatory suns but they aren't nearly as feasible anymore. The few games that still have it either have next to dead populations or have the cult following that WoW does.
RNG crates and ingame stores that don't give you a free win over non-payers? Sure. I prefer it to games like Rift that outright sell raid gear
You come from 1 and done, sometimes with later dlc, games. I pity you inability to fathom MMORPG development costs
