So I do crafting writs on 13/15 of my characters every day, soon to be 15/15, and I've begun to notice that getting all these crafting surveys really puts a damper on how I like to play the game! I'm not huge into going out and resource node farming, you see. I still do it, of course, since it would be terrible for these things to go to waste, but it seems like it could be handled differently. And then I thought to myself "Self, aren't there people who LOVE to go out resource node farming?" And the answer was of course Very Yes!! But I can't sell or even give these surveys away to such individuals to whom this play style appeals because they're all bound!
So here's what I'm thinking. Let us trade these and put them up on guild stores. The farmer types can go gather the resources and then turn a profit putting the raw or refined mats up on the guild traders. I'll keep buying those raw or refined mats, keep pumping out writs, and we'll all keep the economy going with specialization of labor! Grand idea, right? I thought so too!!
