So I believe I've found the luckiest player in ESO. He plays on Xbox & had struggled with VMA for close to a year now. He eventually went back in after some advice & finished it with a pretty good score(~450k) & got on the leaderboards.
His first drop was an infused lightning staff, then he got a nirnhoned fire staff from the weekly.
He went in again the following week & got an sharpened bow, then got ANOTHER lightning staff from the weekly reward.

✭✭✭✭✭My friend who plays a Khajiit MagSorc spent weeks trying to get a single first straff drop.
Ended up with 5 bows, 2 sets of dual wield, 2 resto staff pretty much all being combinations of best traits. He finally got his staff but now is thinking of being a StamSorc just because he has BiS weapons.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

Grinding just make you go in circles.

It's funny how a 2% dps difference can drive such extreme behavior. In the worst cases that damage difference is not even real, only imagined due to insufficient testing/data.0 -
magictucktuck✭✭✭✭✭I cant even tell you how many times I ran it on xbox and i never once saw a fire staff from hundreds of runs and leader board rewards. I got hundreds of bows and restos
I'm on PC now and ran it maybe 5 times and i have 2 inferno staves 2 bows and a battle axe and dagger/axe all i need is the resto now lol0 -

Good for him, but the Xbox community has much less players than the PC/MAC servers, so getting RNG like that doesn't happen on our servers. Same goes for crown crates.1 -

One million in game is not that great amount. Try to kill 2 crystals jump down and go up again. If healing is too hard to keep up kill crystals 1 by 1 and jump down between every one of them. Use sigils. Healing and power before you go up.

In my free Crown Crates that I got via leveling or from the evemt for the three free crown crates, I got: A pet, a camel mount, an Ice Wolf, and a Bone Dragon memento.
I consider that to be a pretty fortunate earning.
Would have prefered a good looking costume though.0 -

✭✭Well was lucky enough not to farm for the Soul Shriven skin. It dropped after I died at that time. When we killed molag bal I was unable to open up the corpse. An ad group wiped us out I ran all the way back dying several times I think. I died when I ran back to try and loot the molag bal corpse if it was still there it was. Hmm anyways died again could not resurrect myself. But a player nearby resurrected me. Then I opened up the corpse. Soul shriven skin was there ten minutes I believe.
This was the second attempt but the first full completion for me for the center event in imperial sewers. Rng really blessed me that day. Might go back someday to get the scamp.
This was after I got kicked from a group can't remember all the details after we wiped I think irony payed a role that day too. It was over a year or two years ago. I'm not sure.
Its an extremely rare drop even when players run it the center sewer event a hundred times they still don't get it. The chance of the rng draw. It can either give you something you want or something you don't want.
