[Suggestion] Achivement Point Milestones

I know that we can get dyes and some cool titles for our character with achivement points. But i believe it would be a good thing to have achivement point milestones that would yield addinational rewards for breaking certain scores. These milestones could include xp boosts, account wide furnishing, maybe crown crates, some exclusive cosmetic, costume, personality, skin, outfit unlock etc.. Giving small rewards every 500 points then giving out big reward pack every 2500 points or so.

I think this would add a feel of accomplishment for casual players who don't/can't bother doing hard veteran content for certain personality/skins while keeping those acts as a seperate success.

Please discuss,
Thank you.

Good idea, I would also like achievements to be account wide.

Titles should stay character bound because some are a lot easier on certain classes.

    Hi @Acheration,

Milestone rewards for achievement points at certain intervals sounds like a really fun and encouraging idea, something that could potentially get players to try aspects of the game that they wouldn't normally try. We can't promise anything, but we really appreciate you taking the time to share your ideas with us.

We love reading the communities feedback and ideas, you all come up with the most fun and interesting things! Please don't hesitate to share any other suggestions or feedback you may have in the future.

Just saying but a bunch of furniture is tied to achievements already. You can only buy them from the vendors if you have it.

No thanks to account-wide achievements, for the reasons given in the various threads on it (mainly the desire to play multiple characters fully through the game as equal individuals). Yes, however, to an account-wide summary of each character's achievements on the character selection screen.

    (tongue-in-cheek)

    "Basement dweller"
    "Gainfully Unemployed"
    "User of Add-ons"

I like the way you think!

In all seriousness. There are more than a couple huge milestone achievements that surprisingly don't have associated titles. Many of which revolve around crafting. Fully researched all 9 traits across all disciplines? Congrats, you get nothing. Learned every provisioning recipe in the game? Big deal Martha Stewart. Know every furnishing plan in existence? Take your Bob Vila butt somewhere else!

If the achievements become account wide, so yes!
    Otherwise, no!

I have a crafter char, for example. And he's obviously responsible for all the craft achievements. Another character is for PvE. Other for PvP. Another did all the quests.

It would be interesting. As I said, if the achievements become account wide.

    Or...

If there was a system that counts the achievements made by all the characters.

I would like if they made it so that achievements had rarity level to them

    Common
    Uncommon
    Rare
    Very Rare
    Veteran
    Legendary
    Event
    Rare Event

And the rarity of the achievement decides the exp reward.
Atm I think only slayer challenge achievements in veteran dungeons are the only ones that do give exp for completing.

Excellent idea. Furnishings, titles, exp, mounts?, costumes?... Would be a nice encouragement to get some achievement points.

I´m also in for the account-wide achievements idea.

    I like that idea!
I mean, we have other such unlocks already with the dyes, so why not give something for achievement hunters as well?

I dislike that idea. But I say that every time the question comes up so I won't need to here...

    Agreed, to both.

The account-wide overview would also be a -great- place to add more account-wide rewards for multiple achievement completions... just as optional goodies for those alt-hounds who actually spend time on their alts and rack up achievements instead of just grinding them to 50 for PvP...

I thought of something similar like that for some time. Can only say, what the other s said before me... really... Yes!

I think titles with certain achievements would be very cool. Lets say you destroyed 100 dolmens in Glenumbra, you can choose a title like "Protector of Glenumbra" or something along those lines. Or you reach cp 300 without dying once -- unlock the title "The Immortal" (hey its not so uncommon, some people survived Dark Souls 3...). So many possibilities.

Elder Scrolls Legends has sooo many titles, why not ESO too. I might open an own thread, but I dont want 2 on the same topic, but I had some similar ideas as well, lets see where the discussion goes...

Well this would actualy seperate things.
Player achievements as they are right now (no change)
Account milestones achievements as new concept
(sum each achievement for unlocking it with any carrecter for first time)

But the best is that Community Reps are sending great ideas like this to ZOS for evaluations

    Milestones can be various like:

    Small milestones
    XP Pots
Bags of reawards like in PVP
    Materials for Crafting
    Uncracked Cristals
    Etc

    Big milestones
    Titles
    Personalities
    Furnishings
    Costumes
    Crown Crates
    Pets
    Etc

Many of us have old characters with many points, so this should be taken into account, otherwise it would not really be fair for us veteran players.

I only have 22k on a single toon, but I have a combined 50k achievement points. I would like to request "Elitist Scum" as a title. :D

yeah you re right  , well with the prerequisite of at least finishing some quests (cadwells silver or what ever), or things that are considered hard (vet dungeons, dlc dungeons, trials)... but thats quite tough and would cause some drama (we know the pug dramas all too well...) .
Maybe some other good reward or incentive earlier on (at 100 cp) or if you died below 10 times smth else, with other, easier prerequisites... that can be varied as the devs see fit, it just should be a really admirable title, not unachievable, and have some incentives to reach it too...

My true concern with this would be that it 'wouldn't be retroactive', just like the 'Level Up Rewards' weren't, either.

I can understand the latter being the way it was, by tempting new players with Crownstore items every other level, they're more likely to spend real money in the store later. Not only that, if you really want those items and collectables, levelling a new character to 50 takes only a matter of days.

What doesn't, however, are achievements. I'm close to approaching 25k and, for me, this is a big deal and a lot of time, effort and energy spent doing it. Some of the ones I value most literally took months and years to finish. I have one character I do my achievements on, my main, and I wouldn't repeat 75% of them willingly.

I can see why the level up rewards are not - mainly since they are not universal, but a way to help new characters on their way to join up with the old and established ones, give them a leg up in crafting or their fist taste of crown store dru... uhm, I mean, goodies.

Achievement milestone unlocks on the other hand -definitely- need to be retroactive!

In fact, if ZOS decides to do this, it actually might be best to introduce them together with the often mentioned accout achievement overview page, and distribute them from there... it would be in a special "Account Achievements" section, with the "achievements" being "reach (A) achievement points", "reach (B) achievement points", "reach (c) achievement points"... (and then... they can add more achievements to that section,. like the ones I often mention... "reach level 50 with each race", "complete mainstroy with every class", "clear all cyrodil dwelves in every alliance", etc.)

Idea of Account Achivements are sound. Which allows you to tie old achivements with the new, fresh achivements such as completing certain dungeon achivements with different classes, for example. Which would be incentive to play and test out other characters if you're willing. Only downside to this is people that don't like playing many characters though.
