If you already own Morrowind, you are basically only paying for Summerset, the price you would pay for only Summerset. Morrowind is free for a time with pre-order so you aren't technically paying for it, nor do you get a copy of it if you already own it so you definitely aren't paying for it.0 -

They want you to think you're getting something for free, but you don't. That's how marketing works. Makes you think you're saving money, but in that case you're actually paying twice for the same product. Summerset price would be cheaper without Morrowind included in it.

Except I don't actually receive the product. So either ZOS is lying and charging me for a product I dont receive a 2nd copy of that I paid for (at a very reduced sale price) or Morrowind is actually free with pre-order and thus I don't get a 2nd copy of a game I already owe because I'm technically paying nothing.

I agree with you on the marketing point however, I would point out that the summerset physical CE is cheaper than the morrowind physical CE was. I noticed this in my purchase history when I preordered SS.
