I'd think /reloadui would work. I just do all my buying and THEN open my mail. All the zoning I do looking for stuff on the different AH's takes care of that for me. Even if I JUST bought something, It'll show up (may take 2-3 seconds). This is on PC of course. If it takes you 5 mins to zone, you have bigger issues. Zoning normally takes me less than a minute when I port somewhere.

It's an exaggeration, but even at less than a minute, it's still way too long. Porting to a new zone requires you to load all assets for the first time, which takes longer than porting to a different wayshrine in the same zone. I also have over 20 active add-ons, so that adds a little to the load times too.
