Best places to find Hlaalu, Redoran, and Telvanni motifs?

BA drops from treasure chests not NPCs as far as i know. Picks/safebox motifs are Hlaalu, Redoran, and Telvanni. On another note, i dont think it matters what "house" you pick. I have gotten Telvanni motifs off Redoran soldiers( literally had Redoran in the name) more than once.
I do think only certain NPCs drop motifs, not based on "class". I have farmed some NPCs and went a few hundred picks without ever getting a motif and others i get one about every 30-60 picks, and then there are some in between. I dont think all NPCs have the motifs in their loot tables.0 -

✭✭I got a Telvanni legs motif off of the female NPC (last name Hlaalu I believe) in Balmora. That was the only motif I picked - had to buy the rest.0 -

Pink_E_808✭✭✭✭I agree with the other Pink, Balmora is a great spot. I got all the telvanni motifs and most of the other two in about two-three weeks picking a few hours a day. I skimmed over the last couple comments so I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this: any NPC in Vvardenfell that gives you a 100% pick over and over like drunkards, beggars and some of the outlaws, DON'T pick, pick, stab. Pick them until they are empty, then stab. I have come to find that not only do you have a bit more of a chance to get a motif, you can get raw and, occasionally, refined mats. I have picked some of those pockets up to 6 times before they go empty. They will drop off the other NPC's, too, but it seems like not as often.

MythicSnake✭✭Do you only get house motifs only off of dark elf NPCs, or do they drop from all NPCs in the area? The motifs that I've gotten were from dark elves, so I was wondering if I should even waste my time with the other NPCs like argonian slaves and breton fishermen.0

pdebie64b16_ESO✭✭✭Legerdemain, Khajiit or Woodelf, Nightmother/Night Terror sets, pickpocketing, sneak and cloak.
Every npc in Morrowind has a chance to drop a page, even beggars, no need to kill them just pickpocket them.
