Guildmasters do you fill your home with books? Do you also do damage test for magical detonation?

Simple thing is do you fill your home with lorebooks so others can read and gain lore from them. There is also where do you have a testing ground for people that are curious about magical detonation and its two morphs inevitable detonation and proxi detonation (minimum of 10 training dummies within 8 meters of each other)?

I have found it odd that some of the guild masters and even some from some of the main city ones don't actually do either of those two. I am guildless and seem to be the only person I know of that has a training grounds for magical detonation and its morphs. I have also found it odd that I seem to be the only one that has invested in quite a lorebook collection in one home. Even though reading lorebooks as furniture is wonky (may or may not give it to you and may or may not say it gave it to you but did give you exp for it but invisibly so). I find it odd that I can't seem to find any that do from talking to various others of their guilds.

Lorebooks placed on homes don't award Mages Guild exp. Was never meant to. If it does, it's a bug.

Why does magicka detonation in particular need testing?

I've seen enough people of a significant amount get exp from it. No flavor text for it says it doesn't give you from what I seen from merchants it is associated from.

Damages it can potentially do, I've seen enough people that were curious so I decided to do a test that I have heard no one offers. The same test area also helps with learning how to deal with damaging condensed groups of enemies as well. Can move around as need be.

That's oddly specific when concerning what GuildMasters do with their homes. Where does it even come from? Do you assume that all Guilds should be running Cyrodiil Bomber Groups?

Oh no, just thought it was odd that I don't know a single guild I have heard of that has that sort of training ground for other.

Lol and I have 174 lorebooks in my home for no reason then : P but seriously if you take the time with some and do the tests you can see through inviting others to your home and see how they all interact. Some people say it is a glitch and some say it is supposed to give mages guild exp.

@ZOS_GinaBruno please asknowledge that furnishing replica of lore book must not grant any mages guild exp
and you need to look closer to ppl who abused this

I don't know if it is or is not a glitch. From a practical sense it makes sense to give lore. Top right of the screen doesn't lie though when it does show up. But if it is a glitch then it can be looked at and patched. If it is supposed to give lore regardless than it should and if not then it should not where it is not meant to for.

I honestly thought it was more of a bug for not giving exp sometimes.

Just like people exploiting infinite stuns then? A lot of people do that without knowing they are doing it.

Some do but it is a hit and miss really. Only people I've seen that actually cared are for the ones that go for vet trials.
Other than that there has been some people that do try to get testing for magical detonation and its morphs. I usually get like 2 or 3 a week most that ask to test it out.

I came to look at the lorebook as furniture as the same way of helping others as a tuneable station is or having other crafting stations at your home.

Well here is an option. Instead of 'expecting' a guild master to spend RL money (around $400+ worth) on test dummies for and 1-2% that would actually use it once or twice. The people that spend there playable time on dummies only need and use 2-3 dummies.
So heres your solution, you buy a house, you buy the 10 dummies and you buy the lorebooks. Then your problem is solved.

You can craft training dummies you know... you don't have to spend actual money on them. Just takes longer to craft versus outright buying them. For magical detonation and its morphs it is really best with the cheapest training dummies though. A humanoid skeleton is ideal for the test.
