Worm Wizard personality annoying sound

now that Worm Wizard personality is turning into the new plague on tamriel, and since it's the first one with such an intrusive and annoying sound, it would be nice to give an option to other players to disable the sound of Worm Wizard personality. at least it would be nice if muting a player could also mute the personality sound. i really don't mind to mute all players next to me with a noisy personality. and please zos: don't bring more pathetic personalities with sound effects.
i always enjoyed the personalities on the game, but this new thing is just stupid.

i see no problem with the emotes because people only use it when they want, it's like a memento, it's ok. but even in standby this personality is noisy and annoying. if you are at a bank with a few players around with this thing it gets worst.
i really don't like the idea of noisy personalities, but since a lot of people seems to enjoy it, the fair solution was to give us an option to ignore all the personalities sound or at least reduce the sound of personalities.
if they keep releasing noisy personalities that the player can't even disable that sound, it will be a huge mess.0 -

✭i've been testing this one with a friend and the problem with this personality is that he can't control the sound. it's not like the Great Elk or any other noise.
with the Worm Wizard personality when i'm in a group of friends with more than one guy with it i always end up completely reducing the effects volume, because they can't control the sound of those toons. it's really that pathetic.2 -

wow, that is a cool personality - and, yes definitely noisy...
yes, the personality is really nice, it's just the sound ruining it.
this personality would be great without any spontaneous sound that the player can't control.
the sound is too intrusive even if it was low, but the crazy thing is that the sound of this personality is louder than any other ambient sound around the game. but from what one of my friends with it told me, looks like the sound effect coming from the other players is way louder than the sound he gets in his own character.1 -

✭✭✭✭Good grief. So THIS is what I was hearing. I thought someone dueling outside was just leaking sound into the bank. Yeah, this is annoying when you're somewhere quiet. Not AS annoying as the zombie personality, which I wish I could kill with fire, but definitely annoying. I think it would be awesome if they'd let us mute some noises via toggle. Emotes, personalities, AND other people's pets, that would be great too.

✭More control over personalities in general would be great. I like the assassin one but that clink clink it makes every 5 seconds is extremely annoying. Why would someone fiddle with their blade every 5 seconds? It's not cool; it's overdone.
Same for the zombie one. I really like it too but hearing my character barf every 5 seconds gets old too fast. And why does it cycle through the different idle stances so quickly? It doesn't look like a brainless walking corpse. It looks like someone having a seizure and choking on their tongue all the time. If I want to see what an idle animation looks like I have to force it because watching them during regular gameplay is nigh impossible.
TLDR more options for controlling personalities would be great.6 -

✭✭I'm not a fan of the personality. The idle stance just looks weird. Your character is hunched and it resembles more the thief personality. Sounds don't bother me at all. The visual effects though look a bit meh. Like very low textures and all. Telvanni Wizard will always be my go to personality, especially with Idle Animations add-on. ✭now with the game more populated during the event, it's more noticeable that Worm Wizard personality sounds are not only highly annoying but also louder than any other sound effect in the game. it should be fixed.
the best fix should be removing the sound effects on the personality, but at least reduce it.0 -

It's super annoying. No one who has the in-game sound enabled would say they like it.2 -

you can always record it in loop and keep that hideous noise to yourself.
the Worm Wizard personality atm is completely bugged and horrendous.
if the players using it enjoy the stupid noises of that thing they should be the ones hearing it and louder. i shouldn't be forced to disable my sound everytime i need to play at a city filled with that plague. right now in deshaan there's 4 of those pathetic things stuck in the reading book animation and i was forced to disable all sound effects because of it.
i know that there are lots of other sounds that annoys players, but in this case it IS A BUG. the players are unable to control it, i have some friends using the ridiculous personality that weren't even aware of the noises it makes.
it's too stupid, it's annoying, it ruins the immersion, it's a plague and it's bugged.2 -

i still need to disable the sound everytime i need to do something in a city. there's always a player stuck with the reading book animation doing a lot of noise above all other sound (why does it even make noise reading? really stupid personality).
anyway... i've been trying to find a way to filter that noise and i was wondering if it is possible to create an addon to block only the personalities sound, or if it already exists. any idea?0
