So beginning of this week I started up ESO again, hadn't touched it for 8 months. Nice to see so many changes.
But I also had a bit of a scare. The first time I went to a stable, it told me I couldn't upgrade my rider because there was still a timer going for 4 hours, 19 minutes.
Has the stable changed that it's a true 20 hours between apples? Because either it's that, or someone else has played with my character in the 20 hours before I showed back up.
Yes, already changed my password, just to be sure of that. I also noticed that a lot of the glyphs I had stockpiled in my bank were nowhere to be seen. But then again, I don't know what I'd done with my character 8 months ago, only that I parked him in Vvardenfell and that was it.
So, just checking, have there been any reports in between of mass hacking, or did the stable change, or could it have been something else?
I surely didn't log in the day before my return, because I wasn't even home at that time. Not home == not my computer available to me == not being able to log in. Well, unless I can play ESO on my Android phone these days.

✭✭✭✭✭I haven't seen anything to indicate a lot of compromised accounts.
You could always send a support ticket and ask them if your account has been accessed within the last 8 months. I don't know is ESO actually shows active log ins as a record in the accounts page like some others do.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

✭you shouldnt have had issues with a timer for feeding your little friend.
but probably its just some strange issue because of you being absent for a long time and patches messing with your account.
about the lost glyphs, i have no idea....better check once more if really nobody had access to your account while you were absent 0 -

✭well the feeding story sounds unfamiliar, however with such a long absence time its quite possible that something got messedup with your timer on one patch or another.
For your glyphs, mabye check your craftingbag also, if you had ESO+ back then, or newly got it when you restarted, your stuff may have been moved into the craftingbag. Or you forgot you had one back in the days
I've not seen any hacking posts in the forum for quite a while, but it may still be a possibility. However if this was the case, maybe change the email password from your mailaccount also, and change the @name aswell. Just to denie the "hacker" any possibility to recapture your account again.

Flynch✭✭✭✭I'd imagine it's fairly unlikely that anyone who has hacked your account would take the time to train the horse. More likely they'd just strip the account down to nothing and make off with gold etc.
Or at the very least, if they did want to use the account to legitimately (air-quote) play the game, they'd delete your characters and make their own. That's where everything is stuck into. Thanks for reminding me about that.
So that's the glyphs thing solved.
@Turelus, good idea about the ticket, I'll ask them if they can see if there's been any other activity.
(Oh, PS: no add-ons. They were all so outdated that I got rid of them.)

Might put your mind at ease a little, I logged my unused old second account on the other day for the free crown crates incentive and thought i would pop him to the stable for an upgrade, he has not logged in for years but the timer showed several hours to go before I could do it.
