Actually what surprises me is how long the servers have already been down for what they have called a small fix of only 70MB.
I understand that is the client side, but they are only fixing the issue you stated above, and the downtime seems excessive for such a small fix.
Here's hoping they're really loading the jester event!

They also do back-ups and data maint during these downtimes and those can take hours.
the last 2 maintenances have been really quick (less than 3 hours) so not sure what the problem is this time.

As a Network Admin, I am well aware of this.
However, the last 2 patches had far more extensive notes than a single line (1 fix) and were at most 2 hours of downtime.

Well, as an admin you should also know that not everything is communicated to clients.For...reasons.
It's moot anyway, server's up.

Patch notes are patch notes.
If you don't want people to comment on them (see Title of thread), then make them more detailed.
Point is, a simple change vs 40 odd changes in around double the time begs the question of what else is happening.
If you read my comments in their entirety, you would have noted that I wasn't having a go at anyone. In fact you would have noted the playful hopefulness in it.
Please keep your opinions about what I should know to yourself... please don't take a fence, I need it to keep the dog in.

Plus they're saying they fixed one little thing, who knows what else they've added without telling us.

That is the point of "Patch Notes" and Test Environments.
If ZOS are rolling out updates without testing on a backup copy of the db first, I would be seriously concerned.
ZOS often seems to put assets in not related to patch notes, that's why we always get new things from data mining every update they do.Pixel_Zealot wrote: »It's not easy being a devie. But test environments and Live ones for some reason do not always behave the same, & MMOs seem to have huge inconsistencies between the two

unsure what your problem is. or why your memory seems to be so short. you cant possibly think that would stop the hate from players on this forum who even complain when given things for free in game.

Hi!
ESO has a lot of issues, you'll find them all over the forums, I'm not going to list stuff again. And you're really
only fixing an issue regarding purchasing stuff? What a joke...
