Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

With Summerset coming, can we please have more features added to the Outfit System ZOS?

The ESO Outfitting system is great, I'll not deny that. But I can't help but feel it's not 'all there'.

It'd be awesome to incorporate some Costumes into the mix. I.e. the Mannimarco Outfit, Blacksmith or the Warden Outfits. Why aren't cosmetic items, like Corseted Long Dress, Cuffed Boots, etc, not able to be used by the Outfitting System?

Also, why can we not hide individual segments? We've got 'Hide Helmet' already, why not 'Hide Gloves' or 'Hide Shoulders' for outfits - if we don't want them to be seen. Removing the motif from the piece just shows the base armour you're wearing.

LotRO had cosmetic slots for Head, Chest, Shoulders, Cloak, Gloves, Legs, Shoes and an optional quiver, alongside slots for each weapons. Of these, it allowed you to hide the Helmet, Shoulders, Cloak, Gloves and Feet.

ZOS, I sincerely hope you're not gonna leave the system the way it is without adding something new? We've been badgering you for it since before Launch, it's obviously one of the most sought-after sytems in any MMO.

I want a 'Hide Character' option. So that it's just the armour floating in the air, killing people

yeah, it'd be cool if the costumes had been a layer under the outfit instead of above. then we could have our fat pretty orcs in the pink wedding dresses wear pink xyvkin gauntlets and pauldrons over... i'm not helping.

for real though it'd be great to further customize the costumes that way. i got a new costume but i don't like the way the footwear goes with it, but i have just the thing over here. that wouldn't even require breaking the costumes into components, y'know? it would at least hold us over until they did get around to breaking them up, and it sounds easy from here.

i'd definitely buy more crowns to spend on costumes if it wasn't an all-or-nothing commitment. i know i'd rock that rice farmer hat on fishing trips, for example. (off-topic but i think that could have sold seperately as well as coming with the costume.)

also, everybody wants other hide options. i hope they're just low-key working on it to surprise us.

A 'Hide Shoulders' option would be nice.

And cloaks!!! My outfit looks great, but it's missing a nice long, dark cloak to be complete.

I would really like some playability benefits for outfits. Cosmetics are nice but not worth buying slots, to me anyway, unless it helps how I can play the game. If slots also allowed you to assign different gear and skill bars I'd be more willing to buy 2-4 slots per character for different builds. PvE, Experience, PVP, Healer, Tank, DPS, Thief/Assasin. Also adds the challenge to how one could build a character to easily switch between roles.

    Outfit Wish-list:
    - Each outfit would have it's own gear, skill bars, quick slots & emotes. (Possibly even personalities and other applicable character specials)
    - No limitation for repeating gear, skills, etc. across outfits.
    - Gear selected for at least one outfit would have the "equiped" status and only show up in appropriate lists for actions.
    - Characters would be granted one outfit on creation and one additional at CP160. (Applied retroactively to existing characters) Additional outfits purchased as they are now.
    - Switching outfits would have the same limitations as switching skills in terms of where and when they can be switched.
    - All armor slots be hide-able. Come on! People have tats to show off! Hiding shoes for both Argonian and Khajiit would be a cool throwback.

Weapon Enchant glow comes to mind, using the Outfit system to replace your weapon appearance also hides your Weapon Enchant Glow. I would like an option to completely change the glow to whatever I like.

The thing that would make me use the outfit system extensively would be the ability to create "disguises", being able to colour them and be able to sell them. Finally a use for those 53 motifs I have completed.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the outfit system, but as mentioned above I'd rather they focused on fixing the huge bug the outfit system introduced- namely; applying an outfit supreses your weapon enchantment animation.

    No.

    Because lag.

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of other effects in the game that cause lag more than a cloak would.

I want to see a hide on each section added.

Costumes - Want to see their parts added to the sections for choices. They clearly have the clothes section available already
in the outfit system, shown by the prisoner rags.

Use monster sets as outfit options?
Maybe if you have all achievements of related dungeon you can unlock them?
