Can't queue for Imperial City in the Alliance War - Why?

Since I don't want to be out and about alone in the Imperial City (Because let's be honest, that would be suicide), I decided to try this queue thingofajig. But to my disappointment, it is... Not queuing me up. At all. I get to click on it but nothing happens. Queuing for Cyrodiil works, but I don't want to do that.

Is the queue button busted, or is it a different reason?

You have to enter through cyro. It's part of the alliance war. Hop in a campaign, go into ic and ask for a group.

Yeah, the IC can only be accessed through one of the PvP campaigns by running to one of the sewer entrances. You then climb a ladder from the sewer up into one of the districts. You need to form a group yourself, as IC is classed as an open zone, not a queueable instance.

I was trying to use this queue while inside the sewers, and then when I was out on the surface.

If it is an "Open zone", how is it that I am able to queue for the Cyrodiil Alliance War LFG thing?

I guess i could sit outside in zone chat and spam "lfg Imperial City", but that's both counter productive, and annoying for people in zone chat, as no one quite enjoys spam being flooded in their chat box. So what am I to do then?

IIRC, in order to actually queue for the sewers, you need a 4-12 man premade group. It's a little weird, but there is (theoretically) a way to queue directly in there.
