Possible death stroke/incap fix?

Remove defile from death stroke, but add this change to incap: cost 70 ult, and does its normal disease damage and damage boost at 70 ult, but if used at a higher ult, incap does its defile and stun. This way you balance pvp somewhat, but not harm pve At what ult do you think is fair if this change is fair?

Give it a 0.6 sec cast like Flurry, so that they can't cancel it or cast it from stealth.

I think its another "fix" for nightblades that could have been rolled into one of the pre-existing threads right now about nightblades without needing a poll.

Does any other ultimate have a use at X ult for Y effect and at X+ ult for Z effect? If not, I don't expect ZOS to add that functionality.

Incap is fine tbh. Defile as a whole is a bit too strong because its calculated as the total healing.

Make it 200 ulti, with a cast time, but give it un-blockable and un-dodgeable oblivion damage of it's current tooltip value, that deals 350% bonus damage to targets below 25% and you have a deal!

Im playing devils advocate, Id rather leave nb alone and buff other classes. But like what happened to sorc, the same thing is likely to happen to nb. Im just trying to find ways to minimize damage to the class by giving solutions that appear to be significant so these nerf threads would quit happening

Even with cp defile isn't too bad for experienced players. Not to mention defile doesn't affect mag shields

You sir are wrong, my motto is buffs not nerfs. I'm aslo much better at killing nightblades then playing them.

This is a nerf thread, so it gets a standard response I give all nerf threads.

NB is a burst class they do very poor in extended fight, any decent player who can block or dodge roll the incap then use a detect pot will wipe the floor with the NB.

Asking for NB's to lose burst is silly, and shows a lack of understanding of the amazing diversity this game provides.

Tweaking classes for balance should only ever be 5-10% in any direction.
