Well ... we can do without hats in settings .... How about a setting for "don't show footwear (shoes, boots etc)" ... ?!? The cats would appreciate ....

✭✭✭what cats? anyway I think hide helmet is a specific option because it's a usual want to show off a character's face ie. a main point of customization. but yeah I think costumes should allow for hiding any and all piecesIGN @ emilypumpkin

and, in some cases, parts of pieces. hip pieces, groincloths, etc etc.
