Why are we paying AGAIN for Morrowind?

So the Digital Upgrade includes Summerset AND Morrowind.

Couldn't you use some commonsense and add a cheaper digital upgrade bracket for those who already bought Morrowind instead of gouging us further with a cumulative upgrade of which a portion of the cost-component would be the Morrowind production/dev cost (which we've already paid for!).

I don't care if its only a few bucks only but it's the principle of having to pay for something I've already paid for. You know, business ethics and all?

It's a "bonus" free upgrade for those who don't already have it to get 2 in 1. You're not paying for it a second time, it comes with the price for a limited time.

One shall not pay for Morrowind "again" The base Default price is indeed 39,99. One shall receive Morrowind for "Free"

With or without Morrowind expansion the Basic Summerset price is the same, it includes extra Morrowind which is Perfect.

Would you be happy if summerset was $10 more as is and current price without Morrowind as that would be the option....

I honestly think ZOS must read threads and bang their head against the table some days.

There is a version that's only Summerset. It's $29.99. The version that has Morrowind is $39.99. Not sure what you're complaining about.

You're not paying for it, it's a free inclusion for those just joining ESO now or didn't buy the first part of the story.

They can buy Summerset and catch up with the story before it launches in June.

If I'm not mistaken, it's being marketed as a pre-order incentive: You buy Summerset now, and you get to play Morrowind now while you wait for Summerset. As It currently stands, it isn't intended to be bundled with Summerset other than pre-order..

this is what i was trying to find - but none of the versions on the upgrade site are this.

yep this is the info i was trying to get - but it also excludes us from pre-order bonuses (mounts etc) unless we buy it WITH Morrowind, when we should have an option to just get Summerset + pre-order bonuses without Morrowind..

the only version you can order now is the Summerset Digital Upgrade which includes Morrowind for $39.99.

Which means that after release it will be on its own for $29.99 which is fine.

$39.99 - $29.99 = $10.

You are paying an extra $10 for Morrowind. Fine if you don't have it already but;

For those of us who have it already, we are excluded from any pre-order bonuses unless we pay the ransom to effectively buy Morrowind again!

Not true ....

29.99 comes with very specific summerset additional content ... 39.99 comes with that additional content ... And for a limited time will have free morrowind base game no additional content

You are NOT paying for morrowind ...

Looks like the $29.99 upgrade is PS/XBOX only. But standard PC version is on discount at Amazon for $31.99, so just a couple dollars more.

ok, how are people misreading this stuff? all digital versions of summerset - currently come with morrowind including..... UNTIL June 12. that is the duration of complimentary morrowind promotion. its not "included" its a prepurchase bonus that is only going to be there for 2 months, after that - you will have to buy morrowind separately. a lot of companies do that with additional content - free as preorder bonus, has to be bought separately afterwards.

the difference between 29.99 and 39.99 is NOT morrowind. BOTH come with morrowind. but 39.99 also comes with ORIGINAL BASE GAME. 29.99 is upgrade only for those who already own base ESO.

morrowind is ONE OF THE PREORDER BONUSES. ALL OF THE DIGITAL PREORDERS have ALL the preorder bonuses.

I think this may be the only game ive ever played where someone complained about getting something for free...or things that were optional and not required to play. The toxicity in ESO is through the roof. ZOS can i have a hazmat suit costume?

It can be hard to find on the steam page for example. You have to scroll to very bottom where it says "DLCs". Currently, summerset upgrade is £19.99
