getting upset for a 60$ content for almost a year seems abit childish dont you think?

im quite happy that theyve bundled it with summerset isle, even though i bought morrowind about 5 months ago

More people get to enjoy some TES content and more participators for Battlegrounds

Eh, I wouldn't have been able to wait a year for it and I love running my wardens.

If this means everyone will have the ability to get the previous chapters when buying the latest one instead of having to buy for each individual chapter then this is a good thing.

MMOs get prohibitively expensive once you add up all the DLC and Expansions over time.

I think it could be fair play to adopt a different pricing for Morrowind owners upgrade (Collector upgrade for the price of the normal upgrade perhaps), or, if technically to complicated, give special bonus to them.

This gives a slightly bitter taste to this announce, but, it's a bit usual with ZOS

I understand the logic of not wanting to push away potential new players by having them buy not just the full (not upgrade) digital Summerset but also the other chapter.
But i don't like the fact that faithfull customers that paid through ESO initial edition, then morrowing, and now Summerset, are not rewarded for it, on the opposite, they are getting "less" out of the deal !

So 2 suggestions
Either have the morrowind actually turn into an extra copy that can be gifted for those that had already it (cause lets face it, no one gonna buy it anyway these days when for cheaper you get summerset + morrrowing ... so it's not gonna make ESO lose money on potential sales ... )
Or for upgrades for accounts that already have morrowind, replace it with some vanity trinket , like an extra pet or costume or house furniture, that would be fine with me too

But just don't short-change old faithfull customers ! Cause right now , i get the message "hey, if you don't get summerset this year, you'll have it free with next expension next"

to me this is an equivalent of being upset that the game you bought some time ago at full or near full price.. is a game offered with PS Plus for free... for a month.

for the record. I wasn't upset when the cost of morrowind was reduced across the board. and I wasn't upset every time it went on sale either. why? becasue I got to play it when I wanted to play it and I am old enough and have been a consumer of all sorts of things, not just games - to realize that THIS IS HOW THESE THINGS WORK.

Doesn't come as a suprice. Many mmo's do this. Also i have been playing Morrowind for months now. And I would not have waited to get it for free anyway had I known. So I see not how it affects me... so a firm, don't care.

Yes. You only get morrowind free with summerset until summerset goes live. After that you'll have to buy it separate again.

Pretty sure that just means the offer of per-purchasing is only available for a limited time. Everywhere else they talk about it, it doesn't say anything about only having Morrowind chapter for a limited time. This is also from the website, for example:

Yep. I may not have been clear but my understanding is once you get MW with your SS purchase, you have MW permanently.

The limited time simply refers to the pre purchase time.

Not really. What does *** me off though is how ZoS had the audacity to put Morrowind on Sale 2 days ago (a day before release of pre-order and the bonuses). That is actually absolutely disgusting and they should be *** ashamed of themselves. How dare they put something on sale and then make it literally free a day after. Who the hell do they think they are?

I think ZOS realized that most players considered MORROWIND as an over-priced DLC. So they offer it free to the players who buy SUMMERSET ISLEs.... finally with jewelry crafting.... which is long passed due. The NEXT CHAPTER prices are over-priced. I have seen nothing in the DLCs or CHAPTERS so far that has been an "game changer" other than nerfing skills & new "barbie makeup".

To keep players from getting bored and moving away, the game needs something that stands out above all other games in concept (not just flashy colors that tax CPU and IP traffic).

I am really glad that ZOS are being so generous and allowing people to catch up so easily.
