    i think it's 9 traits in total as jewelery has 3 traits now. Arcane, Robust and Healthy and i think you need to learn these traits.

    i wonder if they will reuse the old armor traits they dropped…

    transmutation can not be done on jewelery yet.

    You can't transmute to a trait you haven't researched so yes, we'll be hunting for jewelry with the new traits for at least our main crafter.

    As for the traits themselves, only one has been mentioned to my knowledge, Bloodthirsty I think it's called, does more damage to low health targets.

    This isn't going the way I thought it would.

    I have saved most quest jewelry in anticipation of this day, over 600 slots taken up by the crap. Wanted to be able to learn traits to the timer.

    Also, new traits means farming new drops to research <sigh>.

    I am going to be severely put out if they handle this as badly as when they added nirnhoned (when a crafter with no research was more valuable that an 8/8 crafter).

    You're going to want to decon LOTS to level quickly.
    While you do that you have 3 traits to research for neck and rings
    I'm sure during that time you can find a few drops of the new traits
