Yes. Old players who left will return. New players will see what all the hype is about. Some will stay and some will leave. That's the nature of MMO's

I don’t see why. If they haven’t played yet, I’m not sure why this would make them come in. It will probably pull in some old players though.

If we are talking PvE then maybe PvEer love running the same dungeons over and over again will just never understand that. But if we are talking PvP the skill gap is bad enough start rewinding time new players will have no idea how to fight that.
