A Question on "Bonus Copy of Morrowind Chapter"

So is this bonus copy in the pre-order only applied to my account? I already have Morrowind, so can it be gifted? I'm guessing the former.

I doubt it could be gifted. Probably just there as an incentive to encourage new players into joining the game (which isn't a bad thing).

It's pretty common MMO practice to offer the old expansions for free when the new expansion comes out. "Chapters" are just carrying on a tradition here.

This is a big ? though. I have Morrowind. However I have family members that do not, and if this bonus can go that their account instead that is a huge incentive.

This ''limited time'' doesn't means that after a while I will no longer have access to the mount and the Morrowind content right? It just refers to the preorder time window I guess, but just wanted to be sure because it's worded a bit weird.

Man people are hard to please. The price of Summerset does not include Morrowind, it is just a bonus for those that do not already have it. They even priced Summerset for less than Morrowind was at launch which was a nice surprise to me at least.

The free Morrowind is for players that had not yet bought Morrowind and especially new players that might buy the game now with the free play weekend.

Waiting as always is the best way to pay off HAHA! Good old ZOS lol I knew not buying Marrowind rip off fake DLC would pay off. Now I can just buy a cheap Summerset Upgrade with 33% off voucher at Greenmangaming and get Marrowind for free LOL.

I wish ZOS would let me increase bag and bank space past the caps though, still puts me off playing inventory management online....for years now...even with ESO Plus....

I have 30,000 crowns and nothing to spend them on.... I have no interest in your gambling casino box's of RNG...

Also, wait for yearly anniversaries of DLC and get them at a huge discount

But, that is true for most any game. You can pay full price at release or you can wait till it is heavily discounted. If you wait another year, you probably could buy chapter 3 and get Morrowind and Summerset for free. It is all about how quickly one wants to access the new content.

That's a negative ghost rider..... Can get the PC Digital Upgrade for £15 and get Morrowind for free and all the bonus stuff.

You're missing the point. It's the whole attitude that new customers are the only ones that count. They incentivise new players with free content and special deals while existing players are told they're not eligible.

There's no reason the free morrowind couldn't have been a code so people with it already could apply it to their second account or whatever, but they chose to do it in such as way as to exclude a large percentage of loyal players from it.

Ok, this isn't all that big of a deal on it's own but it's just one of a number of such decisions that leave people who have been playing a long time (and have usually spent a lot of money) feeling that they aren't appreciated

I’m pretty sure that you will keep the mount, but the Morrowind content might expire.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

I don't normally buy collectors editions but with greenmangaming offering 23% off when it's already dirt cheap for the upgrade and their throwing in Morrowind for free....even I could not resists that cheap and so much added stuff for nothing.

PC Summer Set Upgrade = £19.99 but greenmangaming with 23% off code = £15 roughly.

PC Summer Set Collectors Edtion Upgrade = £29.99 but greenmangaming with 23% off code = £23 roughly

Compared to gaming prices lately that is a lot for cheap...
