All i see these hybrid supporter’s argument is ‘it is in the lore’. srsly, what lore says a person must be both skilled in sword and arcane? All i know is redguard hate magic. Sure battlemage exists in past elder scrolls games. But being in past games don’t mean they have to be good it also don’t mean it is the norm.

    I mean the more different possibilities in class diversity the better IMO. In PSO2 we got a hybrid class and it's the most OP class ever but obviously it would be since it's a hack n slash game with the class being named "Hero"

    You'll never do exceptional damage with a hybrid attribute setup, but you can always get creative with skills and gear to give yourself access to passives and buffs you otherwise couldn't get.

    We "need" competitive hybrid builds because they're fun to play and add diversity, just as much as we "need" any pure build for the same reason.

    Fun is subjective. Diversity sure. But only magsorc and magblade have truly pure build (no stam skill and 0 phy dmg) being optimal. All stam classes have skills use mag. Other mag class if do more dmg melee, will likely use sword and at least light attack with it. Sure these builds are not true hybrid (does both phy and mag dmg), they are not really pure.

    It's annoying that the game basically forces you to choose between stamina/magicka when making a build. It limits skill choices/value and pigeonholes builds.

    Better hybrids by removal of attribute scaling would make builds more interesting.

    I don´t know if we need it, but it would be nice to have such viable variety.

    This is a great point. There will definitely be some attempts at rocking Mechanical Acuity or Pelinals and Shacklebreaker, or something like that.

    I'm so sick of these damn trolls. Can we just ban leaguetroll and knowledge from the forums already? At this point I'm pretty sure they dont even play the game, they just hang out on the forums 24/7 creating bait topics.

    There are already stamina versions of magic skills. No need for a stat hybrid.

    Much hate? Sadly i actually done a weekly vhrc hm this week. XD check pc na weekly leaderboard and look for me. About that knowledge guy, i dunno man.

    Worth dedication and effort you can make a hybrid work in PvP at least. It won't be optimal, but it'll certainly be viable.

    i have spent a lot of time trying to make a hybrid. fun to play overland but get anywhere serious and things crumble rapidly. the three sets you mention and tbs, julianos as well in 5/5 combos.

    really looking forward to summerset to try these things out.

    It won't be enough unless they also fix Pelinals useless 2-4 pc bonuses. If they made those bonuses strong (with at least one double buff like max stam + mag) then it may be possible to make a good hybrid.
